  • Cozy, relaxing and charming!

"This was one of my most favorite places I've ever stayed in. The decor was so charming! The attention to detail in the decorating made me want to totally redecorate my own home! It has a super cozy feel and flow. The beds were great quality (and I even had a down comforter in my room)! The kitchen was fully stocked (pans, dishes, microwave, glasses, silverware, storage, stove, full sized, etc...) There are train tracks directly behind the house, with several trains coming through frequently. The trains were not a nuisance to our group, and I actually enjoyed it. We would 100% stay here again and recommend it highly to others."

  • Tranquility

"Needed a quiet place to stay while settling my Father's Estate and this wonderful place was just what was needed for my family. The weather even worked in our favor as it was unseasonably warm and the Kansas winter sunsets over the lake were gorgeous. The house was amazing and the heated floors made you want to get out of bed in the morning! Niki, the owner was awesome. When I go back to Kansas to visit I will definitely stay at that house, close to the city, but far enough away for tranquility and beauty."

  • Peaceful

"Very clean, well kept, unique little property with stunning views of the flint hills. Make sure you pack a pair of earplugs for the trains while you are sleeping though. I am already planning my next getaway and it will include staying here. Nice private deck off the back, lots of light indoors and windows, rocker out front on porch overlooking the flint hills perfect for morning coffee. Keller Wine and Feed a good place to eat that I will go back to , Ad Astra restaurant in Strong City.... only if you don't mind waiting an hour for your food on a Friday night. The pictures are accurate, I would recommend this property to friends, nice little antique shops in Cottonwood Falls. Music outdoors on Friday nights in Cottonwood falls about 15min away."
