  • Awesome house in the perfect setting!

"We absolutely fell in love with Adele's house. It was so great to wake up to the sun overlooking Lake Sebago, watching the sun go down from teh back porch, and cozy sitting by the fire in the evening. We would definitely stay here again given the chance."

  • Sunset and views absolutely beautiful

"Our family enjoyed the off season at this cozy chalet. Carolyn the owner was accommodating to keep it open for us. It is beautiful in Maine this time of year. This was our first time Frye and fit the need for rest and relaxation to a tee. We ended up not bringing enough food for the week as well as could not locate the vacuum cleaner but we adventured off the island to the mainland picked up what we needed to finish off and a vacuum to keep it clean. Ferry is $35 a round trip which may be steep for multiple off island journeys so contact Carolyn and get an update on what you need to bring.I assumed the most but I was still short and did not have extra packing space so i had stuff with us that was not needed and missing things like nut crackers for the lobsters etc.. on Frye, the store/restaurant is open certain days but limited days times and menu items. Store is camp store some essentials limited in variety. I gave it 5 stars as the view is worth it alone the other perks are toppings to this gem!"

  • Gorgeous home in a beautiful setting

"My family and I just got back from a week stay at this gorgeous Sebago Lake home. We traveled with our almost 3 year old son, parents and friends. The house had plenty of room for all of us. My son loved the sandbox, toys and games. The large table on the deck accommodated all of us for dinner. The house is newer and is incredibly clean, tastefully decorated with just about everything you could need. The master has the best views of the lake and at night you can hear the loons and see the moon sparkling over the water. Off the master is the nursery which is really a 5th bedroom, just doesn't have a closet. You can access it from the master or from the hallway. It was perfect for our son and he loved reading the Goodnight Maine and Goodnight Lake books that were provided. The yard is large, grassy, and shaded, perfect for relaxing. But if you wanted sun you could just sit out on the dock. I recommend bringing beach chairs for this. The dock is great, and since it is new you don't have to worry about splinters. We rented a pontoon boat and were able to pull the boat right up to the dock for easy on and off. The lake in front of the house was calm the whole week except one day. I would recommend bringing water shoes as it is a rocky bottom. We enjoyed canoeing along the shore and paddle boarding (we brought our own paddle board, the house provides a canoe and 2 kayaks). We also loved the location of the home. You can easily get to Sebago Lake State Park and Sand Bar by boat or go over to Frye Island for lunch. By car there is much to get to quickly, including the Good Life Market, a great place for lunch sandwiches, salads and groceries. Bob's Seafood was great for ordering lobsters to eat on the deck, and their lobster mac and cheese is to die for. Mosquitoes Ice Cream was the perfect place for an evening treat. We also drove to Portland a few nights for dinner, not too long of a drive. Amazingly enough I didn't get a single mosquito bite even though we were there in July as the owner sprays the property. I do wish we were given a heads up about the company coming to spray while we were there, but I would rather have them spray and enjoy the outdoors than have to stay inside or cover myself in bug repellent. Gregg, the owner, was very pleasant to communicate with and very responsive. I hope to be able to rent his beautiful lake home again in the future! Highly recommend!!!"

  • Beautiful cottage and a great location.

"My kids and I had a great time and Rick and Sherry's home in Sebago. Loved the location, easy access to the lake, marina, good bar and restaurant, grocery were right down the road. Neighbors were friendly. Place was beautiful. Rick was very considerate and checked in and called to see how everything was going, and was helpful in giving guidance regarding places to go in the area. Really hope to come back."
