  • Great place with great access to the beach and to town

"The cottage was just as advertised , beautiful and clean. Great access to beach and town. The roof deck was great at the cooler times of day. If it had more parking it would be perfect"

  • Lovely getaway

"This is the second year my family has rented this property. It is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The kitchen has all one could need, a washer and dryer downstairs , central AC, plenty of room to accommodate guests, and a large deck with plenty of chairs. There is a nice beach that feels private, a raft, canoe and rowboat available to guests. The owner is very nice and approachable. We very much enjoyed staying at this lovely place."

  • A Gem!

"The Dock is wonderful. Debby and Bruce were gracious, welcoming, and helpful. The house is spacious but has a cottage like feel (felt wonderful the moment we stepped inside). Terrific space with a living area that adjoins a large, comfortable dining area. We had our families join us for lobsters, and we comfortably sat ten. The kitchen, more than fully equipped, has views over the water, and there is a comfortable sun porch, where we spent hours. There were just two of us, but there were two other bedrooms with plenty of room to sleep 6 more. The deck has an easy to use awning with plenty of comfortable seating. It's a quiet, comfortable, peaceful spot, yet if you want to sit on the front porch, you can watch plenty of friendly locals and visitors alike go by. We had everything we wanted and needed within walking distance. This place is a gem, with everything you could possibly need. Already looking to book for next year. Thanks for sharing your amazing place, Debby and Bruce!"

  • Neat & Clean, the Perfect Home away from Home!

"My husband and I just stayed with our 3 kids: 10, 4 & 2. We were impressed with how well stocked the house is. We picked up groceries from Hannaford (1 mile away) and I utilized many of the items in the kitchen to cook most of our meals saving us money on eating out. We also used the beach umbrella and towels which freed up space in our vehicle for the trip up from NY. There were plenty of pillows and extra blankets. I loved having the washer/dryer in the house too. I was able to do a few loads as needed and our family of 5 came home with only a small bag of dirty laundry, amazing! The house is in a great location to utilize the amenities of the Beach Dreams community. There is a small field right out the front door the kids were able to kick the ball around on. It's a very short walk to the pool although we stuck to the beach during our stay. There's also a basketball hoop next to the pool. Our two older kids loved sharing the bunk beds. Our only complaint was the master bedroom mattress is a little creaky. I'm not sure if the average person would notice much but having our two year old sleeping next to the bed we were terrified to even move after waking him a few times. After the first night we actually chose to give him the room and sleep on the pull outs in the living room - which I will say are extremely comfortable for sleeper sofas! The owner checked in with us after the first night so I was able to text him a few questions during our stay that he helped with. Overall we couldn't have been happier for our first trip to Maine and we can't wait to go back!"
