  • Great family home

"What a wonderful vacation home. Charming house large enough for our family of eleven including the dog. Everything was there to use all we had to pack was our clothes. The closet was full of clean beach towels. Garage had beach chairs, umbrella, rafts and a gas grill. The large porch was a perfect place to relax and read or nap. I didn't even need to bring a book because I found one I hadn't read in the bookcase, there was even a cookbook. The beach is truly close and the grandkids could go back and forth as they wanted. The Grand Beach community was very friendly when we walked our dog through the neighborhood and she was allowed on the beach in the morning and evening. Shopping was convienent, just a short drive into town. The owner was very quick to respond to our needs and made us feel at home. We loved it."

  • Great Stay as Always

"This is our third time renting this vacation home in New Buffalo, Michigan. As always, Linda and Al were great to work with. The house was clean and well equipped with anything you would need (etc. toys for the kids, many towels, kitchen utensil for cooking, spices, lawn chairs for the beach). They provide a free parking pass to the NB beach which waves the $10 parking fee. This is a great amenity. This is an amazing value for the area and we are so grateful that they have kept their prices reasonable for famlies vacationing on a budget. The house is in a central location, less than a mile from the beach and new Buffalo's downtown area . There is a small (free) splash pad for children 5 and under just up the street. The house is locate between St. Joe's Silver Beach (25 min. North) and Michigan City (20 min. South) which has a zoo, splash pad and outlet mall. There are many wineries close by as well. We took the South Shore Line train to downtown Chicago and the whole trip was about an hour and a half. 30 minutes to the train station and an hour to get into downtown Chicago. The neighborhood is quaint and nice, I did my daily run and felt very comfortable in the area. Thank you Linda and Al for this wonderful opportunity!! Our four-year-old keeps telling us he misses the Michigan home. We hope to return again soon."

  • Awesome weekend!

"We had an awesome time! Everything you need are at the cottage (towels, linens, firewoods, crockpot, etc.). We enjoy seeing several deer roaming around the area. Golf cart is a must, driving to the private beach. The owner answered all of my questions. We would love to come back!"

  • Wonderful rental home

"My wife and I just got home after spending a wonderful, peaceful week at the Bronson home. The place is large and completely modern and clean with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The two-level deck in the back looks out over a large backyard surrounded by trees, and the screened in porch is a real plus and a lovely place for a meal or a friendly get together. We really had a sense of privacy since the property feels like it's in the woods with greenery everywhere you look. Five stars for a wonderful get away place that allowed us to kick back and relax."
