  • The Best Rest Ever

"2 Burned out Moms and 2 tired daughters found refuge in this beautiful property. From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. The home is spotless and its obvious who ever built this home was a perfectionist. The girls (in their 20's) were delighted to have their own sleeping suite downstairs. We loved that we each found our quiet place...front porch, back porch, pool and little patio off the lower deck. It was peaceful. We floated in the lovely pool, chatted for hours under the Pergola, read books, cooked good food and barely left the place! There was a brief afternoon of outlet shopping, eating lunch out and a nice wine bar....but honestly, we loved this place so much we just cacooned for the week. The home is very well equipped and you will lack for nothing while there. The beach is close to take in some beautiful sunsets...my daughter is a runner and found it a great place to run. The beds while in great shape were a little firm for our old bones...but a quick trip to Walmart for a foam topper fixed us right up.....the girls of course slept like princesses. We would definitely come back to this Oasis. Owners were wonderful to work with."

  • Great stay for 2 families!

"We loved our 4 night stay here! We had our family (3 kids, 2 parents) plus 2 grandparents. There was plenty of room for us to hang out together. My kids loved walking out on the balconies to see the lake and to wave at the people on the Amtrak. We watched gorgeous sunsets over the marina! The rocky beach is only a couple of blocks away, which wasn't a bad walk. We also avoided driving there because there was a $10 parking fee. This condo is a great location with a quick drive to other cities like St. Joseph, which was only 30 mins away. We loved the little shops along the main drag and enjoyed eating at The Stray Dog restaurant nearby. The one thing that got old fast was sharing the key fob and key. There is ONE key fob and ONE key. You have to have the key fob to get into nearly everything. I would suggest they get a second fob and key for families to have better access. It's inconvenient when you have two adult couples and you aren't doing the same activity together. Thanks for a memorable trip! We had never before discovered New Buffalo and were very impressed with the cute town."

  • Great place to stay with a group of friends!

"My husband and I rented this house for my 40th birthday and brought 5 other couples. The house was perfect for a long weekend away with friends. The house is stocked with anything you could possibly need from a crock pot to the chairs to take to the beach. Diane has thought of everything! There was plenty of room for us to all sleep comfortably. We especially enjoyed the backyard patio area to eat and hang out. We loved that we only had to take a short walk to be be able to enjoy Lake Michigan. There are plenty of bikes if you would like to go a little further to the New Buffalo Beach. Definitely check out Oinks for some sweet treats. We also drove 20 minutes north to Warren Dunes and had a wonderful afternoon. The beach and dunes are great! I highly recommend this home for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway, but with plenty of things to see and do near you if you want."

  • Great family home

"What a wonderful vacation home. Charming house large enough for our family of eleven including the dog. Everything was there to use all we had to pack was our clothes. The closet was full of clean beach towels. Garage had beach chairs, umbrella, rafts and a gas grill. The large porch was a perfect place to relax and read or nap. I didn't even need to bring a book because I found one I hadn't read in the bookcase, there was even a cookbook. The beach is truly close and the grandkids could go back and forth as they wanted. The Grand Beach community was very friendly when we walked our dog through the neighborhood and she was allowed on the beach in the morning and evening. Shopping was convienent, just a short drive into town. The owner was very quick to respond to our needs and made us feel at home. We loved it."
