  • beautiful views and welcoming

"The apartment had a fantastic view from every room!.This wonderful apartment had us feeling at home in no time. What a fantastic building and what a beautiful place to stay! With sweeping views of Jersey City and situated high above a quiet street, it provide the perfect respite at the end of our adventure packed day! It is located in a newly developing area. We spent most of our time in Manhattan and having the PATH Train station within 100 ft of the front door very convenient.we were so overwhelmed. The apartment building is also with 2 min walk of Walgreens (attached to the building), Dunkin Donuts, McDonalds and Subway so grabbing a quick bite is easy. There are also nicer restaurants down the street that we enjoyed. Thanks Leeza for hosting us."

  • Clean, convenient and half the price of the hotel across the street. I'll be back!

"Easy and nice place to stay. Loved having laundry machines and a full kitchen. Great view of the Manhattan skyline."

  • Lovely apartment in great location

"We stayed in Michael's apartment from 26 December 2016-4 January 2017. We found it to be spacious and clean with everything we needed for our stay. The apartment is in a fantastic location if you want to get out of the Manhattan madness (recommended!) as it's a short walk to the PATH station and then a quick (and cheap) trip in to Lower Manhattan. The PATH system is fantastic as it takes you to other places in New Jersey, such as Hoboken, and also into the World Trade Center station and 33rd Street in Manhattan, both of which are great starting points for exploring NYC. There is a supermarket close by and plenty of restaurants if you want to eat out. You can also walk to Liberty State Park to catch the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and the Amtrak (which we caught to Washington DC) from a station on the PATH line. If you are flying in to Newark airport, it's an easy train and bus ride to the apartment. We really enjoyed our stay and found Michael to be an excellent host. We highly recommend the property for an extended stay in NJ/NYC."

  • reasonable apartment in an old building

"The reasonably prized apartement wasn´t expected to offer luxury, and it does not. You have to climb a steep stair, not easy with heavy trolley. We stayed 4 very hot summer weeks, and the air conditionong worked well as did the WLAN in the apartment. We received the apartment clean with fresh linen and towels. But all of the tableware was sticky and had to be recleaned before using. Shops and restaurants are very close. Nevertheless the apartment was calm in the night. Good location for Hoboken, a 30 min walk to PATH or a 20 min walk to the ferry boat for Manhattan. We enjoyed our stay and will come back. One wish to the owner: install a reading light at the bed!"
