  • Wonderful Beach Haven West Home

"This property was a phenomenal find. Beth and Chris were wonderful hosts and made sure that we had everything we needed. The house is really nicely laid out and the living areas are very open. The place had everything we needed, down to nightlights for our daughter! The location was great, very close to convenience store, pizza, ice cream, liquor store, grocery store, etc. Outside, we couldn't say enough about how wonderful this backyard is. We had breakfast on the deck every morning, with the most peaceful view out to the lagoon. We lounged in the sun on the chairs and the hammock every afternoon, and had dinner at the picnic table in the evening, with the most beautiful sunset views!"

  • Great house and owner

"This is a great house! The pictures do not do it justice! It's very spacious and the open floor layout is great! It's decorated nicely and very clean. The house comfortably sleeps 8 and the pull out sofa was one of the most comfortable pull outs that anyone in our group had ever slept on. The owners do a great job of keeping the house stocked with everything you need (linens, toilet paper, plates, paper towels, beach chairs, floats, citronella candles, bug spray, sun block, etc). When you walk in there's a cute basket filled with necessities such as sun block, bug spray, new flip flops, and a beach ball, in case you need it/forgot it. The back yard has a huge deck with a grill and a great view. There are also 3 kayaks and a paddle board that can be used. The owners quickly responded if we had any questions. We look forward to coming back!"

  • 5 stars!

"As described, this property was an amazing waterfront retreat! We used this property for a “staging” point for the bridal party and also to host a welcome BBQ for out of town guests. The outdoor space was enormous! Ample parking, wonderful neighbors and a beautiful location. You have to bring nothing to this house!!!! Coolers, bowls, serving spoons, plastic drink ware, excessive tables/chairs and sitting options, refrigerators/freezers, storage, games, sheets, etc. It was provided and well organized! Love the house and thank you for letting us camp out! Highly recommend this property!"

  • Down by the Bay - week of relaxation

"My boyfriend's family and I (6 adults, 1 baby) stayed in the bottom apartment for a week in June. The weather was wonderful, the bay was warm and beautiful, and the apartment was fantastic! There is a spacious master bedroom with its own bathroom (plus - two sinks, large shower!) and a king size bed (very comfortable - bring your own sheets and blanket). Then there are 3 rooms on the other side of the kitchen (the separation was nice), 2 having a queen size bed and 1 having a queen and a twin along with another bathroom with a tub. The kitchen had every utensil, dish, misc item (including a junk drawer) that you needed and the dishwasher made clean up so much easier. There was also a washer/dryer in the wet bar area which was perfect for towels and bathing suits after days hanging by the bay or beach. The apartment also has a little bit of a larger balcony (waist high enclosed with glass) than the upstairs apartment that has a table/chairs and a grill. We spent a lot of time out there with a beautiful breeze (no bugs when it's breezy but bring some spray for still nights) and a wonderful view of the bay and all of its activity. Beach badges for Ship Bottom were provided (8) and the drive over the bridge was quick and easy! You can drive the other way for access to a WalMart for any grocery needs, also. If bringing a mobile baby, I would suggest bringing a baby gate as the stairs just lead directly into the apartment. The views from the living area on the opposite side of the living room are beautiful with green marshland and more water activity (also a pair of binoculars!). We didn't get around to it but there are a few local areas that offer kayak and jetski rentals and there is a dock that the owner rents out for this use. We would definitely stay here again, what a great week!"
