  • absolutely wonderful casita

"My husband and I were completely charmed by this truly beautiful casita for our five day stay. Everything was comfortable, the way light, colour, and gorgeous touches played through the rooms lifted our hearts, all appliances worked, everything was spotless, and the silence and lovely spaces to read, cook, visit with friends, or simply rest with a coffee watching the mountains and the birds was completely delightful. This must be one of our very favourite places ever found through VRBO. Outstanding! Truly a jewel. Thank you!"

  • Charming, well-located, bountifully provisioned casita

"For a six-day visit to Santa Fe, we wanted a place that was walking distance to the plaza, with a full kitchen and a place to park. Casita Arbolita was all that and much more. It's charmingly decorated and has plenty of space. There's a washer and dryer, a huge refrigerator, a gas stove, and a dishwasher. And the owner has provided everything a guest might need - lots of plates, bowls, mugs, barware, flatware; laundry and cleaning supplies; tea and coffee (beans and a grinder!) bottled water, extra linens, and even a welcome basket with fruit, candy, and wine. Casita Arbolita is definitely a home away from home, and we highly recommend it."

  • Lovely little house

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was lovely and clean. We really liked the decor. The location was fantastic -- easy walk to everything downtown. We'd definitely stay there again. Two minor notes for future guests: 1. The house is very, very difficult to find -- a Santa Fe local got lost getting there. You may have to wander around for a while, even with GPS. 2. The only bathroom is attached to the bedroom; anyone staying on the fold-out couch in the living room has to go through the bedroom to get to it. Kokopelli did a great job. Our stay in Santa Fe was over a July 4th weekend, so we reserved a condo via Airbnb (and paid the full amount) seven months before then. The week before we were to arrive, we contacted the owner of the unit we had reserved to get final instructions, and were informed that he had neglected to tell us the reservation was cancelled! After more Airbnb problems we contacted Kokopelli directly about a listing it had on Airbnb. That rental was not available either (Kokopelli should have removed it from Airbnb, but that's a different matter), but Kokopelli found us this house, which was kind of expensive, but really nice. While we were in Santa Fe, Kokopelli was very good about making sure everything was okay, and checking in and out were very simple and quick."

  • Comfortable and cozy

"We stayed for a week in the casita and found it to be an excellent base for exploring this wonderful city. The property was as described and is located in a quiet residential street within easy walking distance of the Plaza and Railyard. We also made use of the free Santa Fe Pickup and apart from a couple of days out and an evening visit to the opera (wonderful), we had little need for a car. One small quibble, there is a lack of storage space for clothes for people staying for a week."
