  • Back Again!!

"This is my second time sending a review, but we just love it here and would come at least once a month if we could find the time! Another wonderful stay for our girls getaway weekend! Super comfortable place to hang out, have meals and relax. The back patio was perfect for an afternoon outside with comfortable chairs, umbrella, table for eating and a propane grill. Living room is great for just lounging. Easy walk to Ellicottville's main streets for restaurants and shopping, and a nice stroll home after visiting some of the local bars. :) Owner is always very accommodating. Our stays NEVER seem to be long enough!"

  • fun ski weekend

"The house was spacious. Three families rented the house for a weekend of skiing and we found the house to allow plenty of room for us to enjoy each others company for dinner and games and yet when we need our individual spaces the house allowed that too. The house decor was dated and some of the kitchen cabinets were not working correctly. The description of the house stated their was a Keurig however there was not. There was a coffee maker but we were not prepared with that type of coffee. The house was noisy and had thin walls. I slept in one of the queen rooms in the basement (both queens are in the basement) and needed to wear earplugs due to noise of people walking upstairs and conversations from the other bedroom. The two queens in the basement shared one basement bathroom. The bunk room and the master bedroom were on the main level. The master had a full bath but the bunk room had no bathroom, there was a 1/2 bath on the main floor that the kids in the bunk room could use for basic purposes but needed to use another restroom for showering. The twin bedroom was in the loft and had a private bath adjoining. The house was close to Holiday Valley skiing and the landscaping was beautiful. We watched lots of deer grazing in the yard all weekend. Plenty of towels and sheets were located in the basement closet. Lots of firewood was available, however the house was very difficult to regulate temperature. We used the fireplace on our first night but that was it, the bedrooms became too hot and uncomfortable at times while other areas of the house were too cold. There were some negatives with this house but many positives. We would rent it again."

  • It was a wonderful, warm, comfortable, home away from home for our family vacation.

"The home was very warm and comfortable for our family vacation. The home was well equipped, especially the kitchen. PLenty of blankets and extra pillows. The washer and dryer came in handy. The owners were very accomidating and was very good about getting back when there were questions or concerns. Our deposit was returned in a very timely fashion after our stay. It more then met our expectations for a great winter family get away."
