  • Beautiful cabin, beautiful setting, beautiful weather

"Great location for a wonderful bit of solitude. Small, quaint, very well appointed log cabin. Well off the beaten path. Next to state forest land on one side, working farms on the other (you couldn't see them, but you could hear them). Nighttime was fantastic - literally couldn't see your hand in front of your face. Just sitting outside and watching the stars is something I haven't experienced in a long time. I'll definitely keep this place on my list of places to return to."

  • Wonderful Stay, Great Place, Awesome Owners

"I had a wonderful experience while staying at Paul and Erin's chalet for almost 2 months, they were a life saver to me and my family when we needed a place to stay on short notice while relocating for work to the Ellicotville area. Paul was easy and reasonable to work with. Staying at this chalet, while looking for a property to buy for myself made it very difficult in my house hunting efforts, as I compared all other properties to the one I was staying in and most fell short. The pictures don't do this property justice. It has a walkout basement, from a downstairs area with a pool table and poker table and a large sitting area. It is well furnished and decorated nicely, it also has large river Rock fireplace downstairs. There is also a large bathroom downstairs with a large beautiful shower. On the mid level you also have another to die for shower, master bedroom, laundry room, large open kitchen, and a floor to ceiling large river rock fireplace, all this walks out onto another wrap around deck, with a grill and stairs to the large yard below. The street is quiet and the neighbors in the area are great. Couldn't say anything bad about my entire stay or business dealings with Paul and Erin. Thank you for making a moving transition so easy!!!! All should come stay here. Darcey and Chris, and Tootsy PS - a lot of reviews of this property mentioned cell phone reception, there is a cell tower going in right now, so the one issue people consistently mentioned will be no longer an Issue."

  • Great rental experience.

"Owner was very nice, responsive and easy to work with. Condo is clean, in good condition and well stocked kitchen. The unit has 2 floors and a 3rd floor floor loft so you can spread out a little. Excellent location for skiing Holimont. The unit is on a steeper part of the hill, which is not uncommon for slope side units, but under sever weather I would recommend an AWD vehicle."

  • Great place to stay!

"I have stayed at Alpine Wilderness Lodge many times over the last 10 years or so! Alpine Wilderness Lodge has a cozy, homey feel to it and is a great place to gather with family and friends. It offers lots of comfortable sleeping arrangements and a nice size kitchen to cook and hang out in. It is in close enough proximity to Ellicottville, NY to ski, shop, eat and enjoy the nightlife, but far enough away where you get that wilderness, zen feel. There is a huge pond to fish in, and lots of land to enjoy your outdoor hobbies on. Also, the owners are amazing and very attentive to their guests!"
