"My wife and I spent three wonderfully relaxing weeks at the Tree House and could not have been happier calling the Tree House our home for this period. Everything we needed was available and we cooked some wonderful meals both on the stove and the BBQ unit on the deck. The location was perfect and allowed us to easily walk to town or to many other areas of interest in Highlands. Our favorite restaurants were Lakeside ( very close to the Tree House ), The Old Log Cabin, The Market Fresh Grocery and the Main Street Inn. The owners were wonderful to work with and responsive to our every need. Our dog particularly loved the long walks around town that we were able to take him on. We would strongly recommend the Tree House to anyone wanting to spend some time in "paradise""

  • Escape the summer heat!!!

"We loved our time at Casa Suenos! So private yet close to town...fully stocked with a beautiful wooded view from the decks and hot tub. Furnishings were lovely and the cool porch was a great relief from our hometown summer heat. We loved the hikes nearby and the Botanical Garden in HIGHLANDS...LOTS of restaurant choices. Great for any type of getaway! We have told our friends and they are booking as well...Thank you for sharing your space, Karl ! A and D, Athens, Ga"

  • Billye

"So glad I splurged for the house since I fractured my foot the day before our hiking trip! I had a lovely stay... we entertained our local friends for dinner and enjoyed the porch and the wonderful green space around the house. I especially (being home-bound) enjoyed the library of books (and the magazine I accidentally had to send back) and the organized manner of the kitchen. My favorite is hearing the hymns from the church bells in town and the spontaneous drop-in of cute neighbors. The commaradarie of Highlands is dear."

  • Cozy family get away

"Great days in Highlands followed by awesome accommodations at Highlands Hideaway. We hung out in the family room with the kids at game table and the adults enjoying wine by the fire. The kitchen was great too! We been booked for next year :)"
