  • Exceptional accommodations and hospitality

"Our expectations were exceeded by far. Mike and Victoria were excellent hosts. We were given great recommendations for restaurants and Mike even accommodated us by making reservations for us. The house was great and the fire pit made for a nice evening in the cool fall weather. We have already told many friends and family about our great stay and will definitely return. Thank you so much! We look forward to seeing our new friends on our next visit."

  • Cozy and secluded

"Enjoyed our stay. Have a few things I thought the owner might want to know about. These are not complaints but an FYI. There are large logs that would have to be split. When trying to split one, the mallet came off the handle. The ping pong table is a good one, but no balls, and neither TV was working. Otherwise we had a great weekend!! Thanks for sharing your home."

  • Perfect cottage surrounded by hills but close to town!

"If you want the best of both worlds in Highlands, this little cottage is perfect -- quiet and away from it all, but also close to the fun and activity of Highlands. With one bedroom upstairs and one downstairs, the home feels spacious and at the same time cozy. The back porch is nestled amid towering rhododendrum, and a beautiful creek weaves across the back yard. For our week's stay, I don't think we heard a car go by a single time. I loved the experience of just getting there -- putting my car in low gear and climbing up the winding Stoney Creek Road to the front door. This is a "don't miss" home away from home if you want a full Highlands experience."
