  • Relaxing mountain home

"Wonderful home perfect for a large family. Bedrooms spread throughout the house with plenty of gathering space. Kitchen well equipped. Outdoor deck space was wonderful. Great views. Close to Highlands, Cashiers and lots of hiking trails. Enjoyed our time here."

  • Great mountain home

"House was beautiful with large deck overlooking a large valley and mountain. Large open floor plan kitchen with adjacent outdoor screened area with gas fireplace. We enjoyed the deck in the evenings and a glass of wine and no mosquitos. Cooked on the outdoor grill 2 nights and it worked great. Really enjoyed the large built on griddle in the kitchen, made making breakfast for 10 easy!"

  • Perfect cottage surrounded by hills but close to town!

"If you want the best of both worlds in Highlands, this little cottage is perfect -- quiet and away from it all, but also close to the fun and activity of Highlands. With one bedroom upstairs and one downstairs, the home feels spacious and at the same time cozy. The back porch is nestled amid towering rhododendrum, and a beautiful creek weaves across the back yard. For our week's stay, I don't think we heard a car go by a single time. I loved the experience of just getting there -- putting my car in low gear and climbing up the winding Stoney Creek Road to the front door. This is a "don't miss" home away from home if you want a full Highlands experience."
