  • Cozy Cabin, Perfect for Group of Friends

"Our group loved this property. The multi-levels allowed us to be close to our friends and still maintain some sense of privacy. It was close to town, very secluded and the porch was amazing! We spent more time out on the screened in porch than inside. If you a looking for a fun mountain getaway with easy access to Highlands and rafting guide companies, I highly recommend this cabin. Make sure to plan ahead to get into town for groceries or restaurants before too late, as a lot of things seem to close up early between 7-9p. The grocery store in town closed before we could get there but were able to get essentials at The Market and their "take and bake" pizza was great!"

  • Escape the summer heat!!!

"We loved our time at Casa Suenos! So private yet close to town...fully stocked with a beautiful wooded view from the decks and hot tub. Furnishings were lovely and the cool porch was a great relief from our hometown summer heat. We loved the hikes nearby and the Botanical Garden in HIGHLANDS...LOTS of restaurant choices. Great for any type of getaway! We have told our friends and they are booking as well...Thank you for sharing your space, Karl ! A and D, Athens, Ga"

  • Fantastic!

"My wife and I spent our anniversary here and it was more than expected! A quick five minute walk had us in the heart of downtown. Plenty of dining and entertainment options all around this home. The house itself had a VERY comfortable bed and was much bigger than expected! We had a great time here and will be staying again!"

  • Everything you could possibly want or need!!

"We just returned from a delightful, restful 4 nights at Pine Tops. First of all, the cabin is adorable--it truly exudes charm, comfort, and love. You can't help but feel "at home". It was the most well equipped cabin we've ever stayed in, even including baskets of toilet paper and soap so we didn't have to run out and buy a bunch of supplies, which we appreciated arriving as late as we did. The cabin is in an incredible setting that pictures cannot do justice--you literally feel like you are in a fairy treehouse. Every direction you look out, all you see are trees and rhododendron. There is plenty of seating in the large living room , lovely deck, huge screened in porch, with dining areas in both large living spaces. The bedrooms include plenty of hooks and drawer space and the bedding is gorgeous. The art creates a welcoming environment. All 3 bathrooms are well equipped with plenty of supplies, towels, drawers and hooks. The decorations don't come across as clutter but contribute to telling the "story" of the owner and cabin, which you will very much appreciate. We are middle aged grownups but decided we wished the owner would adopt us!! There are numerous darling touches, such as a tiny little table for children, with accompanying small wooden chairs in red, green, and yellow. Plenty of candles and matches in case the power goes out which it never did--but still, just one more indication that the owner has literally thought of everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the coffee table books and interesting reading material scattered throughout the home. Another aspect we enjoyed and which helped make the home so enjoyable and relaxing was little touches like always having appropriate lamps in each spot, and no matter where one is sitting, there's a nearby table or stool on which to rest your book and cup of coffee. There seemed to be a bunch of TVs, which we never watched, but we did enjoy listening to music on the stereo. I'm a hotnatured person and was concerned about the lack of central air in humid August, but it was not a problem. The air is cool and circulates well with all the screened doors; and if needed, you can turn on all 3 bathroom a/c units and let them run which does cool things off. Location so quiet, yet, just minutes from town! Last, the high quality and precious nature of many of the items in the cabin indicated a respect for the guests--a desire to share lovely things to evoke delight."
