  • Cannot say enough good things

"My husband and I stayed 2 nights as a little anniversary getaway for the weekend. Gail goes above and beyond to be sure you have everything you need and more. We felt so welcomed and like we truly were guests in her home. She has lots of little snacks on hand, a little fridge, a freezer, a fully functioning kitchette space, wifi, Keurig with coffee and tea, Roku with Netflix. The space feels very private and cozy and has so much character. The secret passage is the best part and was the main reason I chose this listing. The neighborhood is so nice, very safe, and very close to lots of restaurants and downtown Akron. I want to live here! Gail respected our privacy but still checks in via text to see if you need anything, which is sweet. She is also very happy to get to know you if you're looking for more social interaction. Thank you for a truly special experience. We will definitely be back."

  • Family Gathering for a baby Blessing

"This house worked so well for us! We came to Cleveland to be with our daughter and son in law and our new grand daughter. We were about a mile from their home with easy access to the airport. I liked the little farmer's market and convenience store just two blocks away. They told me the organic produce is wonderful in the summer. The house is very neat and clean. There were great books in the dining room to read. We would have liked some board games and puzzles....some other places have had them. We enjoyed the dining room table as it was large enough for all of us to sit around and eat and play games. Having a 2nd bathroom in the basement was helpful, but not recommended for small children. The stairs are steep. Having a washer and dryer was great, but we could not figure out the right setting to keep the dryer running hot. The kitchen was great as we cooked most of our meals their. The best part is that Nick was very quick to respond to any texts. We were to check out the day that 8" of snow dumped and he gave us a couple extra hours with the hopes that roads would be more cleared. We had a wonderful time in Cleveland and would happily rent this or another house on Saratoga from Nick. Thank you!"
