  • JUST ENOUGH! (Completely as advertised)

"PRO's: LOCATION-was awesome both for Murrells Inlet and Myrtle Beach. There are tons of activities/attractions both North and South. GATED VILLAGE-amenities (pools, rec areas, neighborhoods) were clean, friendly and updated and the gated aspect was very safe. Especially nice to have private community beach access. HOUSE-was completely as advertised, adorable, with newer sun room furniture than shown. Additionally, it was clean and cozy yet very spacious, with ample closets and dressers and felt like our own. Kitchen was well equipped. Outdoor shower was new and AWESOME! Golf cart for our area cruising was such a nice feature. OWNERS-very easy to work with with prompt communication. CON's: nothing to mention, so find your own. SUGGESTIONS to Other Travelers: bring bicycles and beach chairs (we were glad we did), and in cooler weather perhaps, a grill (it was WAY too hot to grill during our visit). BOTTOM LINE: we would definitely stay again. Thank you Louanne!"

  • We called it home!

"We were new to the area and called the Treehouse our home for two months while we house hunted in the Myrtle Beach area. Patti was always quick to respond and went out of her way to make our stay trouble free. We so enjoyed sitting in what we called the "lanai" watching the beautiful evening sunsets. The Treehouse has everything you could possibly need, very clean, comfy beds, loads of towels and a wonderful selection of reading material, gardening and cookbooks as well as DVDs. Just a quick ride to Surfside Beach, restaurants and stores."

  • Jill T.

"The hubby and I arrived for a week of vacation at this lovely, comfortable condo. We loved it immediately, and found ourselves constantly gravitating to the patio. This place is serene, truly right on the beach, and maybe only 50 yards from the water's edge. The pictures accurately portray all the rooms, and we were totally comfortable with everything we needed. Unfortunately, due to the arrival of Hurricane Matthew we were evacuated after only part of our lovely week had gone by. The owner was wonderful about it and promptly refunded a portion of our payment along with our security deposit. We will gladly return to this pleasant home. It's just out of the main hubbub of Myrtle Beach and being there in October seems to suit us with fewer crowds. We loved this place."

  • Family Matters

"The private pool was great. The pool maintenance person came 3 times while we were there for a week so the pool always looked fresh and clean. House is very spacious. The wifi worked great. Being oceanfront is definitely the best feature of this house. Each bedroom had a private bathroom which worked out wonderfully. The upstairs had 4 bedrooms and a sitting area with TV. The washer and dryer were located upstairs which was convenient. Ceiling fans and TV in all bedrooms and family room. The upstairs had a separate thermostat control than from downstairs. Just a few recommendations: Need more than 1 key when multiple people are staying. Need to go through the kitchen and get rid of some things. Cupboards are cluttered and things are mismatched. New pots and pans would be a good idea. Owner did offer to reimburse me if we went to a local store and purchased new skillets, but we only had a couple days left so we didn't do that. Pool lights did not come on until around 9pm but it got dark around 7:15 - 7:30pm. Could not get the gas grill to work. Porch facing the ocean was a little crowded with furniture. Family room could use more seating. The 2 couches are awesome but when you have more than 4 people staying it doesn't work very well. We would definitely rent Family Matters again in the future. The owners were awesome and called us to make sure everything was going ok. We were there 2 weeks after Hurricane Matthew and the place was cleaned up and ready when we arrived. Thanks Mikki Huss for sharing your home with us."
