  • Lovely home by Lake with access to resort pool and playground!

"Germaine's home is truly lovely. It is well furnished with tasteful art and top of the line furniture, linens, towels, etc. It was easy to cook and eat here, and easy to get to the development pool and lake front. Best of all for us were the plethora of awesome kids toys, games, dvds, etc. that kept our young'uns occupied for hours! I would stay here again and recommended it others looking for a quiet, peaceful place to hang out in Central Texas."

  • Wonderful Spring Break Getaway for the Family

"Property was just as pictured and very clean. The view from our favorite spot in the place, the balcony, was exquisite. The electric grill and fridge were a nice bonus on the patio. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms/kitchen were well stocked with towels and dishes. Would recommend owners leave a few cleaning supplies on hand for renters to clean minor spills and counter tops after cooking but we made due. If you're renting this lovely spot, make sure to bring condiments, maybe Clorox wipes, aluminum foil, sugar and olive oil. We've stayed at some places that had these (whether left by previous guests or supplied) but since they keep this place so clean, they must clean it out well. There were three dishwasher tabs, three laundry tabs and small sample bottles of shampoo/shower gel to use. If you need more than that, make sure you bring it. If you have a dog, bring him. Lots of hiking spots and if it's like ours, it will love lounging on the patio with you. There are golf cart trails to the beach club (it is too far to walk so you'll need a cart or a short drive there). You can rent a cart through the property management very easily and they even deliver and pick it up. It was about 100 dollars a day and well worth the money to explore the large property, find trail heads and jet down to the marina store and the beach club. Beach club has two large pools, a splash area, and two large hot tubs that can fit about 10 people each. Lots of lounge chairs and a restaurant that also serves tasty beverages. There is also a gym, You will receive a swipe card with your welcoming basket upon check in along with vehicle registration instruction and wifi password. Wifi was great quality! Welcome basket was super cute surprise and contained snacks that our son quickly consumed. Property owners were super responsive when we communicated with them but also let us enjoy our time there. We will definitely be back!"

  • Great place but no parking

"Our condo was gorgeous and homey stocked with all the amenities. The beach club pools were gorgeous. Only downside to our stay was that there was no reserved parking. We were instructed to park in the overflow area which was pitch black at night. My daughter got a parking ticket for being too close to a fire hydrant that she did not see because it was pitch black dark. Not happy about that. Otherwise nice mini vacation"

  • The Perfect Place to Rest and Rejuvenate

"If I could give the Cottage 10 stars, I would. We stayed over Spring Break 2017 and had a wonderful time. The cottage is immaculate and had an efficiency of space that made it feel much larger than it was. The beds were very comfortable and the whole property was very quiet. We enjoyed the trails the Hollows offers to run/walk on, and the hot tub at the beach club. As the pools were not heated it was too cold to swim but still a lovely place to sit in the sun. We rented kayaks/paddleboards through Viking rentals and paddled around the cove below the beach club. The house has everything you would need to cook a full meal, and basics like salt, pepper and foil. I loved the clean refrigerator because I don't like to get to a rental and clean out someone's used mustard or old ice cream from the refrigerator. It also had plenty of towels, paper goods etc. We spent mornings and some lunches on the large deck. I cannot recommend the Cottage or the Hollows in general enough and we plan to make this an Austin regular. One note: an elderly person might find the stairs down to the cottage difficult as they are steep"
