  • Spectacular view from most of the rooms in the house

"Villa Tramonto's management staff of Kathi and Jackie were such a pleasure to work with! That is a big plus when booking a place, and was one of the nicest things about staying there. What we liked most about this property was its natural, quiet setting. Beautiful views of the lake can be seen from almost every room. Our reaction when we first opened the front door was "wow." There are no houses across the lake, which is especially nice when you're sitting down at the dock- the perfect place to decompress. Just so you know, you do have neighbors on either side, and one house is quite close, but this doesn't affect the view or enjoyment of the property. The house was very comfortable and is cozier than it looks in the pictures. Make sure you check your thermostats before going to bed though. We were there in cool weather and the first night we all froze, especially those in the bunk room, since we didn't realize the temperature was set so low and there were only summer blankets available. When we tried to reset it in the middle of the night it would work for a couple of hours and then revert back to the original setting. Called Jackie the next day and she walked me through the steps to reset it. There probably were instructions somewhere on how to do this, and afterward it seemed pretty self explanatory, but in the flurry of everyone getting there and the ensuing excitement of being there, we didn't think to check anything. We were a group of thirteen, ages 23- 63 and had no problems with sleeping accommodations or bathrooms, but would hesitate bringing more people, since half of the 16 people the house accommodates would be in the bunk room, with four of them having to share the queen sized bunk. Also, the sleeping arrangements for the children (the bunk room) are totally isolated from the main part of the house. To go from the main floor to the bunk room and game room you have to take outside stairs that, though covered, still get wet and are out in the cold. Parents of young children would have to stay down there with them, which isn't too bad since the beds were comfortable. The pool is unheated and there is no hot tub, but there's plenty to do in the game room so we never felt like we missed out on anything, and the fire pit at night, with the stars overhead was amazing! The best thing to do there though, is nothing- just relax and hang out. The owners clearly want to make their guests feel comfortable, and it shows."

  • Beautiful, Relaxing Lake View and Elegant Condo! Great Location.

"Elegant condo with Lake View setting. Serene view with patio overlooking Lake Travis. Condo walking distance to Haven Restaurant & Laundry facilities. There are two outdoor pools and indoor pool/fitness center near condo. Owner equipped condo with kitchen accessories. We brought our own food (even though stores not too far away). There is a smoker on nearby ground premise near boat slips and also grill / picnic table at other end. We highly recommend this condo for getaway. The owner pleasant and very accommodating."

  • Wonderful getaway!

"The condo was lovely. And the view from the balcony is priceless. I drank my tea there every morning. I couldn't get enough of all the beauty around me. If you're looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect place. The outdoor pool and hot tub that overlooks the lake is the perfect place to relax -- day or night. The condo was well-equipped with everything we needed, from cookware to toiletries. We slept like babies on the king-sized bed, too. The whole experience was more enjoyable than I ever expected. My only word of advice to visitors: bring groceries. The restaurants in town are 12-15 mins away and their food is mediocre, especially for the price. The local grocery store (same distance away as the restaurants) has a limited selection and is very pricey. My husband and I very much enjoyed our time here and we will definitely be back for another relaxing vacation."
