  • Amazing Location - like renting a lakefront luxury park

"The main house is undergoing a renovation which appears to be almost complete, but I talked the owner into letting me rent just the finished guest house. The property is simply amazing. There is a huge lawn like the size of several football fields that you can play vollyball and other sports on. Walking to the end of the lawn takes you down to the water where there is a huge private cove that is all part of the property. There are steps that walk you down to the boathouse that has lifts for two boats. The water was surprisingly comfortable for being April. The host Olivia was fantastic and checked in with us to see if there was anything we need from her. The place was stocked with shampoo, soap, coffee and little things like that. The main house was close to being completed. While we did not stay there, we toured it and it looks like it is going to be amazing. Granite countertops, two kitchens that I recall, cool light fixtures, and modern bathrooms. But I think the best part was the huge deck that spanned the entire length of the house. This place would be perfect for a group getaway. I definitely want to come back with my family and friends when it is complete."

  • Great house on Lake Travis

"I spent the most amazing weekend at Lago Vida on Lake Travis. The beautiful location on the lake offers breathtaking views in a tranquil environment, as well as a magnificent sunset. From the time I arrived Friday till the morning I departed on Sunday I was completely amazed at the home and how beautiful it was decorated. If you want to get away with your girlfriends or a family gathering this home has an abundance of rooms and outdoor space to accommodate any type of gathering. The pool is an added bonus to cool off in when the temperatures gets a little warm it did last weekend. We spent the later part of the afternoon on the dock enjoying great memories with friends. When it came time for the sunset we went to the front upper deck and was mesmerized by the sun as it set along the lake. It really is a great place to escape the rate race back in the city...such an easy drive from Houston. I will definitely return in the future!"

  • The Perfect Place to Rest and Rejuvenate

"If I could give the Cottage 10 stars, I would. We stayed over Spring Break 2017 and had a wonderful time. The cottage is immaculate and had an efficiency of space that made it feel much larger than it was. The beds were very comfortable and the whole property was very quiet. We enjoyed the trails the Hollows offers to run/walk on, and the hot tub at the beach club. As the pools were not heated it was too cold to swim but still a lovely place to sit in the sun. We rented kayaks/paddleboards through Viking rentals and paddled around the cove below the beach club. The house has everything you would need to cook a full meal, and basics like salt, pepper and foil. I loved the clean refrigerator because I don't like to get to a rental and clean out someone's used mustard or old ice cream from the refrigerator. It also had plenty of towels, paper goods etc. We spent mornings and some lunches on the large deck. I cannot recommend the Cottage or the Hollows in general enough and we plan to make this an Austin regular. One note: an elderly person might find the stairs down to the cottage difficult as they are steep"
