  • Beautiful island condo

"The condo was very clean & I loved the decor. The bed was extra comfy & we appreciated the basket of breakfast goodies & fruit! The grounds & the lake were beautiful. Gail was very helpful, kind & flexible with our arrival & departure times. We would definitely stay there again!!"

  • Spectacular view from most of the rooms in the house

"Villa Tramonto's management staff of Kathi and Jackie were such a pleasure to work with! That is a big plus when booking a place, and was one of the nicest things about staying there. What we liked most about this property was its natural, quiet setting. Beautiful views of the lake can be seen from almost every room. Our reaction when we first opened the front door was "wow." There are no houses across the lake, which is especially nice when you're sitting down at the dock- the perfect place to decompress. Just so you know, you do have neighbors on either side, and one house is quite close, but this doesn't affect the view or enjoyment of the property. The house was very comfortable and is cozier than it looks in the pictures. Make sure you check your thermostats before going to bed though. We were there in cool weather and the first night we all froze, especially those in the bunk room, since we didn't realize the temperature was set so low and there were only summer blankets available. When we tried to reset it in the middle of the night it would work for a couple of hours and then revert back to the original setting. Called Jackie the next day and she walked me through the steps to reset it. There probably were instructions somewhere on how to do this, and afterward it seemed pretty self explanatory, but in the flurry of everyone getting there and the ensuing excitement of being there, we didn't think to check anything. We were a group of thirteen, ages 23- 63 and had no problems with sleeping accommodations or bathrooms, but would hesitate bringing more people, since half of the 16 people the house accommodates would be in the bunk room, with four of them having to share the queen sized bunk. Also, the sleeping arrangements for the children (the bunk room) are totally isolated from the main part of the house. To go from the main floor to the bunk room and game room you have to take outside stairs that, though covered, still get wet and are out in the cold. Parents of young children would have to stay down there with them, which isn't too bad since the beds were comfortable. The pool is unheated and there is no hot tub, but there's plenty to do in the game room so we never felt like we missed out on anything, and the fire pit at night, with the stars overhead was amazing! The best thing to do there though, is nothing- just relax and hang out. The owners clearly want to make their guests feel comfortable, and it shows."

  • Great Hidden Gem!

"So many things to say about this place. First, booking was super easy. After I booked a two-night stay, I realized that we could actually go out a day earlier than we originally planned and Jennifer was super accommodating in helping me adjust my reservation. We got there and the instructions were perfectly clear and it was really like we were pulling into our own place. The parking spot was directly next to the elevator which let us out basically right in front of our condo. This condo is in a great location because it is really close to the restaurant/bar as well as the indoor pool and fitness center. It is also really close to the outdoor pools as well. One piece of advice I would offer is this, the complex is really big and can get very confusing so just keep in mind that every elevator has a map in it, so if you get turned around just pop into the first elevator you see. The condo itself is also great, the balcony view is incredible and it was so nice to eat breakfast on. Everything was very clean and comfortable, it was exactly what the listing described it as. This was our first experience trying a turn-key style vacation and it went way above our expectations. It made getting away and having fun an effortless task. You would think that such a cool resort island would be swarming with people and loud noises but it was so quiet and relaxing. Unless you go to the Friday night karaoke at the bar, which was AWESOME! Just a great weekend overall, exactly what we hoped for and more than we expected. Thank you Jennifer, we will definitely want to come back again!"

  • Amazing view, solid clean house, great weekend!

"We really enjoyed this property! The house has plenty of space. The kitchen was good for the size (8 people), and everybody had plenty of bathrooms. But at the end of the day it's the lake that makes a good lake house, and the view and dock are amazing here. I highly recommend this if you are looking to get on the lake. It's not super posh, but that's not what we were looking for. It's a good value, and nice clean house, and an amazing view that makes it awesome. The outside grill could use repair/replacing, but that was really my only main complaint. Great place!"
