  • Exactly as described, with accordion doors separating bedrooms and living/dining areas

"My son and daughter-in-law and grandson, 6 years old, and 4 1/2 years old granddaughter and I spent the most delightful week in this charming cabin at a prime beachfront location. The children spent many hours wading (shoes on) in the calm shoreline water and discovering various sea creatures, including a baby octopus which, of course, they didn't touch. Low tide was the highlight of each day, and it seemed to be very necessary to move beach logs around and continually add to a temporary seashell/sand dollar collection. Lots of children time spent entertaining themselves, with only 1 adult supervisor necessary. Lots of adult time relaxing and enjoying a fabulous view. Would we rent this house again? In a minute!"

  • Quiet, relaxing stay

"Really enjoyed the stay (2 nights). The cottage has great woodsy views and a comfortable bed (and fold-out couch)."

  • Perfect quaint suite for girls weekend

"Could not ask for a better location or a better view. My best friend and I celebrated turning 40 with a girls only get-a-way. While the pictures are extremely accurate, we were blown away by the view upon arrival. The most beautiful Seattle sunset with the marina in the distance and ferry slowly cruising by. The suite was quaint and perfectly for the two of us. The bed was super comfortable, could even hear the waves lapping softly in the early morning. While it ended up being a typical wet NW weekend, we enjoyed long walks exploring the golf course, neighborhood wooded trails, nearby housing developments (dreams), and of course the beach. We did not pay attention to the tide and were super fortunate to enjoy a glass of wine (thank you for plastic wine glasses) on the beach during a break from the rain. Hope to come back again in summer to enjoy the beautiful backyard and kayaks."

  • Perfect Winter Weekend

"We spent an incredibly cozy February weekend watching the premium on-demand movies and TV with the beauty of the bay in sight. The suite is incredibly well thought out with cushy leather living room furniture, oversized sturdy ottoman, and soothing décor. The carpet is thickly padded and high quality. Nice track lighting with lots of dimmer switches for ambience. The heat is from a sleek high powered gas wall mount fireplace that makes for an even cosier stay. We easily put the kayaks in by ourselves and had a fantastic paddle to the end of Fletcher Bay: calm, serene, safe, and beautiful. Perfect for first-timers. Larry kept an eye on us and came down to help us get out and unload, he was so friendly and helpful! This free water amenity greatly improves the value of this already fantastic property, there is a dinghy and a canoe as well. As others have noted, the color scheme in the suite is neutral and sophisticated like a hotel. Bed is very comfortable, shower is large with great water pressure. We bought a lot of microwavable and ready-to-eat items and really enjoyed the full sized fridge and excellent, late model microwave. There is a hot plate and outdoor grill for cooking if you need it. The private patio has a fantastic view. We can imagine it is a truly magical spot in the summer but we had a restorative, private, and beautiful winter weekend!"
