  • Great location! Clean. Overall very easy and enjoyable experience.

"The only negative is that there are a lot of stairs in the house."

  • Perfect Place to Sleep & Relax

"My overnight stay here was just perfect. I really only needed a clean, comfortable place to sleep for the night, and this provided that and more. There were libations for when I arrived, and a great setting to have my coffee (that they provided) in the morning. Mary and Bonnie made sure everything I needed was attended to, even offering to pick me up from the train station. Thanks for such a great place to chill on the first night of my time in Seattle!"

  • Cute basement apartment

"This basement apartment was comfortable and had welcoming kitchen items such as milk, eggs, coffee and cocoa. The owners have done a nice job of renovating and furnishing this apartment. Because the apartment is in the basement of a family's home, be aware that you will hear people (and at times pets) walking above you in the mornings, doors opening and closing, and people talking. If you are leisure traveling and want to sleep-in past 8:30 in the morning, keep this activity above you in mind. At the time of our stay, there were no window or door coverings in the living room area, but this was being planned. There was a stove-heater in the living room, an electric fireplace-heater in one bedroom and a thermostat-controlled heater in the second bedroom. It was cozy warm for us. The bathroom is small but functional. Know there is a small shower that was fairly tight for a woman 5'5" and of average weight. The location in the Kerry Park neighborhood was nice and safe. Parking on the street was sometimes a challenge."

  • A Great place to stay for a family or a group!

"Patricia's home in Beacon Hill is just lovely. The location is wonderful, near lots of public transit and walkable to some small shops and convenience stores, the farmers market, and beautiful views from the trail just steps out the front door. My husband, our infant daughter, and I stayed here with our dog at the beginning of 2017, while we worked on finding a permanent place to live in Seattle. Our little family was very comfortable there, and traveling with a baby, comfort was our priority. We had everything we needed and plenty of room to spread out, and it was great to be able to do laundry!! The host was responsive to questions, and gracious enough to work with us when some wires got crossed about our arrival. The yard is beautiful and we just wish it had been summer time so we could have enjoyed the back patio! Highly recommend staying here for anyone looking to be close to the city but out of the craziness of traffic and such. We would definitely stay here again!"
