  • Very nice, awesome view of the lake

"We loved the condo was perfect for the five of us. My children loved the loft and the view. Very nice bonus that the Bayfield Recreation Center is right across the street. Only $16.00 for family day pass to swim in the pool, also has hot tub and sauna. They have weight room and racket ball too. Swim toys, life vest all available for kids. Tracy you need to add this in your post advertising this condo that this is steps away from the unit."

  • Wonderful time!

"We were so fortunate to get a room at the Pilot House. We had no idea that an apple festival would fill up every room in the area. We had simply started out driving Saturday morning and ended up in Bayfield. We called around on Saturday afternoon when we got into town and the Pilot House had just had a cancellation for that night, and we were lucky enough to get the Crow's Nest room which overlooks Lake Superior. While the room itself is rather small with enough room for the king size bed and a small hightop table it was very comfortable, and the bathroom was HUGE. The rest of the house was gorgeous. The deck was amazing and we sat out there on Sunday morning having breakfast. The living room area has a beautiful fireplace and very comfortable seating. Jack was so pleasant and very helpful on things to do in the area. I am so glad Pilot House had this cancellation because now we have found a spot we will go to again numerous times in the future."

  • A nice condo in walking distance of everything.

"The condo was tidy and clean. No TV cable or antenna for news/weather. The location was prefect for us, as everything was in a short walk from the condo. The only night life on the island (Tom's burned out bar) is 50 yards away, so you can hear the music from the condo. The music was great, however if music playing till 2 or 3 AM, this might not be the spot for you. For us, the music drew us out to enjoy the night. Most eateries were also in easy walking distance. We found that "gourmet" spots were awful. The beach club, Grandpa's pizza were simple but good. The coffee shop under the condo wS great and had the best souvenir clothing around. Overall the island is beautiful. We were surprised to find the state park to offer so little and largely not dog friendly. Candles aren't my thing but the candle shop, the grounds, and the people aren't to be missed. I enjoyed their beautiful gardens."

  • Impressive

"The cabin was perfect. We enjoyed having fires and the view was great. It was also a nice treat to have access to the beach. The beds were very comfortable and I would recommend staying again."
