  VERY PRIVATE EXCELLENT GETAWAY! all you need is there and so close to all bemus point has to offer owner was very helpful with all questions etc. we would love to return!

  Cabin was very clean, nice, and the fish were plentiful. Didn't read that there were no sleeping pillows or blankets, so had to buy pillows at Walmart, which is nearby. Cabin is secluded, peaceful and quiet. Would recommend this property. Bemus Point is quaint w/ restaurants and shops, which are ok. Chartered boat at Lake Chautauqua and kids caught a 32 inch muskie.

  My family and I had the pleasure of spending an extended weekend here. The house was perfect, the grounds breathtaking and the atmosphere was beyond words. We look forward to making this an annual vacation spot. It is wonderfully secluded yet close enough to town for those little things we all need. The house has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The best part is that this is a pet friendly vacation rental. Our dogs are just as much a part of our family as our daughter so we wanted to bring them with us. They had a wonderful time walking the many trails through the beautiful woods, taking a swim in the large pond and sitting by the fire at night with us. I highly reccomend The Beautiful Chalet In The Woods to everyone.

  MY HUSBAND AND I RECENTLY STAYED AT THE CHALET IN THE WOODS AND REALLY HAD A GREAT TIME! IF YOU WANT TO GET AWAY TO TOTAL PRIVACY YET STILL HAVE THE EVERYDAY CONVENIENCES THIS IS IT. WAS SO PEACEFUL, A GREAT LOCATION LESS THAN 5 MINUTES TO THE HEART OF BEMUS POINT. OWNER WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL WITH QUESTIONS WE HAD ETC. VERY CLEAN AND EVERYTHING WE NEEDED FOR WEEKS STAY REALLY WOULD ENJOY RETURNING....

  Myself and 3 co-workers needed to conduct some field work in Jamestown and did not want to spend several days in a hotel so luckily we found this cabin. Was the perfect size for us and with 4 environmental professionals you couldn't go wrong with the location/property. Great fishing from the pond, well stocked fire pit, deck and grill. Would definately recommend this as a family get away. Didn't get a chance to explore the hiking trails, but is a nice ammenity. Property and cabin were in good condition and easy to get to.   Wonderful location and a true delight. This charming chalet was very comfortable and clean. The layout was great for a family of seven and either rain or shine designed for privacy and a nature experience. The interior is well equipped and well maintained and everything that is promised by the friendly owner. Outside is 30 plus acres of great nature. There is a new large deck to eat or relax and a gas grill ready to go. We caught and released so many fish in the huge pond. I had the best nap in the outdoor hammock. The nature trails were so fun to explore and easy to traverse. The stocked fire pit was a hit and ends a perfect day. We can't wait to return!

  The pictures on the website do not do this property justice! So much space - both indoors and especially outdoors!! The owner was very responsive to all questions leading up to our stay. I would definitely recommend this property for a quiet, secluded getaway. PLENTY of firewood for the fire pit - not an exaggeration at all. Definitely would love to rent again, if we return to the area - it would make an excellent fall getaway. Unexpected bonus? Beaver sightings in the pond! Only downsides - 1. cell phone reception (I have Sprint, so texting worked but VERY spotty for phone calls) but if you want to truly get away from it all this would be a positive for you. 2. no air conditioning - it was a very hot, humid week during our stay - but it was mostly bearable because we spent most day light hours elsewhere (there was lots to do and see in the area) - and the first floor bedrooms were plenty cool at night.
