This quaint house is located in the Historic town of Mayville, New York. The town of Mayville has many great features including Lakeside Park which has a basketball court, two tennis courts and a playground for younger children. Chautauqua Lake is a short stroll down Pratt Street and the front porch has a wonderful lake view. The front porch has seating for 4 and is a great spot for morning coffee. A rails to trails bike trail is accessible at the end of Pratt St. The home has many great features including central air conditioning, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. On the first floor is bedroom #1 which has a queen bed. This bedroom is located directly across from a full bathroom. Up the stairs are the remaining 3 bedrooms. Bedroom #2 has three twin beds. Bedroom #3 has a king bed. Bedroom #4 has a double bed. Outside bedroom #4 is an open area with two twin beds and a twin mattress under one of those beds. Bathroom #2 is off of this open space. The open space has a smart TV. All other bedrooms also have TV's in them. Downstairs is the entry room, a kitchen, a family room, and a dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless appliances, granite, garbage dispoal, dishwasher, and an island with four stools. The dining room has a large farm table which could seat 8-10 people. The family room has an HDTV and has two couches and a recliner. The rear deck has a gas grill and furniture to seat 6-8 people. The house has been completely remodeled over the last few years and both bathrooms are new. The downstairs bathroom has a claw foot soaking tub, a standup shower, and a pedestal sink. The upstairs bathroom has a stand up shower and a double bowl vanity. If you are interested in a lake experience with many close amenities then this property is perfect for you. Peek n Peak Resort is 20 minutes away with Skiing, Golf, Spa etc.... Southern Tier Brewing Company is 25 minutes away. There are several wineries and a wine trail along route 5 near Lake Erie which is only 10 minutes away.
The house accomodates up to 11 guests and no longer has an extra guest fee.
The driveway will accomodate 4 cars comfortably and the village does not allow parking on the street or on the grass in front of the house. Please do not park across the sidewalk or on the street. If vehicles are smaller, you may be able to get a 5th car in the driveway
There is a detached garage with an apartment above it that may or may not be occupied by the owners when the house is rented.
