This custom built mountain retreat is a luxuriously rustic family home designed to sleep and feed large groups. Situated on a picturesque lot that backs to Trout Creek and the Tahoe Donner Golf Course, this home is on Swiss Lane, one of the most desirable streets in Tahoe Donner.
The great room has a gourmet kitchen large enough for multiple cooks; a cozy living area with an oversized L-shaped sofa, surround-sound HD TV system, natural granite fireplace and hearth; and a large dining area. The vaulted ceiling is trimmed in knotty alder and the floor-to-ceiling windows look out to a beautiful deck with a Hot Springs hot tub, sitting area, table/chairs and a BBQ grill. The master bedroom is on the first floor and has a luxury bathroom with heated floors, dual vanities, large shower with rain head and a soaking tub. The utility room has a sink, new washer and dryer and a drying closet for wet ski clothes, bathing suits/towels, etc.
The large upstairs rec room is the perfect play area for kids and adults alike with a pool table, fireplace and TV. There are 4 additional bedrooms (for a total of 5 bedrooms) and 3 additional full bathrooms (for a total of 4 full bathrooms) all done in natural stone. Everyone will have a place to sleep - and the family can all be together in the great room or the kids can spend time in the rec room.
The house is fully set up for fun, family, comfort and relaxation. Tahoe Donner, the town of Truckee, CA and the surrounding area offer many activities including skiing, golf, tennis, swimming, hiking, biking, boating, fitness center and more!

- Shared Pool: Tahoe Donner has 3 swimming pools. 2 are at The Trout Creek recreation center. A family pool and an adult lap pool that is open all year for lap swimmers. There is an additional family pool at the Club house next to the tennis courts.
