Family (ranging in ages of 1 year toddler to 90 yrs young) stayed in this clean, beautifully furnished condo over the Christmas holidays. Have to say mattresses on beds were the best ever! Owner is great to work with....all plans went exactly as planned. Location is great...beautiful beach area to walk and only about 6 street blocks from Fat Harolds (shagging). Myrtle Beach outlet shopping only about 20 minutes away. Definitely a good deal!

Our family of 7 stayed at this condo the summer of 2010. Everything about it was great! The beds were comfy, the bathrooms clean, I am always a bit uneasy when staying at a hotel or somewhere outside of my own comfort zone, but this was different. We all felt extremely at home here. The owner was attentive and great to deal with...If you are looking for a home away from home, this is your spot!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family and I stayed here September 2008. We were thrilled with the unit and the amenities at Mar Vista. Having 4 bedrooms allows for much flexibility with kids! The unit was VERY clean and it felt like it was less of a rental and more of a "friend's condo". We stayed August 2010 at another unit in the building because this unit was booked. I could not believe the difference in the 2 units...I was afraid to take my flip flops off in the other unit. Dirty carpets and a kitchen that I felt needed to be run through the dishwasher before using. Don't settle for another unit just to get the ocean front view. The view from this unit is nice and seems to allow more privacy. Also, this unit allowed us to use their storage locker which had beach chairs, etc. Our other unit's storage locker was not accessible to us. A big benefit to this 4 bedroom unit is that NONE of the bedrooms have bedroom windows which look out into the common exterior hallways (which bring LOTS of noise). We were very happy with this unit and would rent again. We will not chance another rental in this building based on our experience in 2010.

My two girlfriends and I stayed at this lovely condo with our combined 6 children for a total of 9 people. We found the space just as advertised, the bedrooms were lovely even though photos weren't included in the ad and the location was perfect! Can't say enough about how great the condo pool area set-up was especially for days where the ocean was either a little bit too rough for the kids or the sun wasn't exactly cooperating with our plans. With kids ranging in age from 4 to 13 yrs old it's amazing they all had a great time and found plenty to keep them busy on this property! Area attractions were also plentyful if you chose to pursue mini-golf, shopping, touristy shopping and water activities. We're already mapping out our return next year. Condo and the location are highly recommended!!

We stayed at this unit for the week of Christmas/New Years 2009 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was very clean upon arrival, the furniture was quality, and the condo is very spacious - we had 7 family members staying there and it wasn't too crowded. The bedrooms are very large and the 3 full baths was very nice to have. We would have used the balcony with a nice ocean view if the weather wasn't so bad (oh well...). Communication through the owner prior to the trip was excellent and I feel like we received a bargain price for the quality of the condo. Also, the Mar Vista building is very new, very nice, clean, and was very quiet. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and fitness room all week. Also, Mar Vista is in a very nice part of North Myrtle Beach - very close to some great restaurants on Main St. Can't say enough good things - thanks to Tom for allowing us to stay there for the week! I'd recommend this unit to anyone.

We stayed at this condo with two other couples. It was PERFECT!!!! The other couples were as thrilled as I was with the choice we had made. It's nearly impossible to find a place with three King size beds so this was a plus for sure. The condo is amazing...beautifully decorated and spacious. It had everything we needed and then some! We also enjoyed using the heated pools and hot tubs. I can't wait for the next opportunity to rent this unit again!

Our family had the pleasure of renting this unit in June 2009. The condo is spacious and nicely decorated. The location is great, on the beach and close to shopping etc. The owner is easy to work with and very accommodating. We were reluctant using VRBO, but it turned out better than using a Realtor.Our family would highly recommend this rental.

We had a wonderful time and we really loved the condo. We have been staying in North Myrtle Beach for 18 yrs and we had the best time this year. My husband and I were looking at the mattress in the blue bedroom to see what kind of mattress the bed had on it. It was the most comfortable.

The suite was fantastic, the furnishings were top shelf. The mattresses on all the beds are the best I have ever felt. I love the artwork, the view, the amenities, everything about it was great. The area of North Myrtle is definately in my opinion the best on the beach. They clean it every night, the patrols are always keeping the unwanteds out and keep it family friendly. You can rent the city's umbrellas and chairs right in front of the condo at a very reasonable rate. One of my children cut themselves on something (nothing serious) and the city workers came up with a first aid kit, they are spaced evry 100 yards or so. Again great service. I had the oppertunity to see some of the other properties and how they were furnished, you will not be disappointed with the bargain you are getting, this property is more like a lavish private condo of a wealthy jet setter than a rental. You will not be disappointed.
