River Willow Cottage is an idyllic cottage situated only 12 feet from the Deschutes river located on Bend, Oregon's Westside, 2 blocks from Drake Park and 4 blocks from downtown Bend.

Minutes to The Old Mill District and Century Drive the road to Mt. Bachelor. Designed in the Craftsman Style with special attention to detail, French doors open up to a lush outdoor patio with river access.

The cottage is a one-room "Master Suite". A French Country Queen Bed, charming gas fireplace and twin chandeliers which hang from an open beam cathedral ceiling offer a romantic atmosphere. The built-in cabinets conceal a wet bar with small refrigerator stocked with wine, beer and healthy snacks, microwave, and a CD/Stereo system. The Cottage does NOT have a full kitchen. .... BUT .... there is a private dinning area outside on the patio next to the river .... with your own gas grill,dinning table, chairs and umbrellas to shade you from the sun.

Also provided is a clothes closet to hang your clothes along with 2 deep drawers. A 14" LCD TV with DVD/movie library and basic cable service. The Bathroom's attributes: Country Sink, Extra-large shower stall(2 seats)and a hand held sunflower shower head with plenty of water pressure. The cozy seating area consists of a Victorian style enamel gas fireplace, a LaZ Boy swivel recliner chair and a Double LaZ Boy Comfort Sofa Bed. Swans,osprey,otters, geese and ducks swim by as the 100 year old Willow Tree cascades over the dock.

Guests have told me the Cottage has a European feel to it..... leaving you well rested and relaxed.

  • We stayed at the cottage on New Years Eve..... what a wonderful way to bring in the new year !! So homey and cozy !! We had our coffee on the patio, watching the otters swim by and fed the ducks... didn't want to leave. I would highly recommend the cottage to anyone and everyone. Thank you MaryBeth for your generocity and hospitality. We will be back for a longer stay !!

  • We felt like we scored a hole in one when we arrived at the cottage. The amenities were wonderful and MB the perfect host. We skipped golf and did take out food so we wouldn't have to leave the incredible setting by the river. As the rafts and inner tubes floated by, more than one said "how lucky you guys are to have such a great place!" Don't we know it.

  • This beautifully furnished, very clean and well appointed cottage, is steps away from the Deshutes River. I felt like I was a guest in a generous freinds house. The veiw is magnificant and the location ideal. Very pet freindly with a fenced yard.

  • My wife and I stayed at the cottage in August, and had a wonderful vacation. We went to see Chris Botti and Diane Krall in concert, at the amphitheatre which was just a short walk away. We were able to walk to town, and enjoy downtown Bend (Great Restaurants). The best was being able to sit on the patio with our favorite beverage, and watch the river flow (very peaceful). We loved it so much, we're going back!
