Enjoy the shade of the large oaks as you take in the view of beautiful all-sport Long Lake in Hillman, Michigan. This 294 acre lake with its turquoise blue color is recognized as being in the top five lakes in Michigan for water quality. Early risers will be rewarded with wildlife such as fishing Common Loons, King Fishers and Hummingbirds while enjoying coffee on the lake side deck. The lake contains fish such as Small/Large Mouth Bass, Walleye, Crappies, Sunfish and the likes.
The lake front home is nestled in the hardwoods of northern Michigan and features 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms; an expansive yard, sandy beach, dock and fire pit that can be enjoy by all ages. A fully equipped kitchen prepares you to cook your catch of the day or use the grill if you choose.
This lake front home is within 10 miles of the Thunder Bay Golf Resort and Elk Ridge Golf Course as well as several others courses within a commutable distance.

great vacation spot! lots to do in the area (golfing, biking, etc) for our family of 4 adult sibs, partners, and mother. the lake was clean and calm, and very amenable to using the various available boats. an added bonus were the loons calling in the nights. the property was just as adverised - big bedrooms, well equipped and just plain comfortable.
Recommended for:Pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had a total of 15 (8 adults and 7 kids between the ages of 6 and 22) stay for a week. Had a blast kayaking and canoeing and using the paddle boat. Very clear lake and calm for skiing or tubing. Good size yard allows room for lawn games and all 15 of us were able to sit around the campfire down by the lake. The upper deck is one of the best features of the house and we ate many of our meals there and just sat around talking and enjoying life. Plenty of room inside for sleeping and playing games. This is one of our best vacations and we have been going up north to different lakes and renting for the past 14 years.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, age 55+.

Great time had by all. Grandkids and adults ages 3 thru 14 all had fun swimming and fishing. Nobody was bored. Great golf in area. Peaceful lake and clear water. House had plenty of room and large kitchen, clean and well maintained. Owner helped us find a pontoon rental. Would recommend to anyone.

Spent a great week at this cottage enjoying the lake and loons calling. We enjoyed all of the boats and it was a great opportunity to introduce our grandson to kayaking. The view from the deck was lovely. Just a wonderful place to rest and relax. Thank you.
