The Shasta Lakehouse is a roomy 4 (+3) bedroom, 3 (+1)bathroom, 3,000 square foot resort house on the shore of Shasta Lake equipped with 2 kitchens, a giant recreation room, and great views all around! There are plenty of nice vacation homes on Lake Shasta, but nothing compares to the Shasta Lake house. It's the premier vacation home on the lake, in a class by itself.
Now we've expanded and we are offering the adjoining property along with the Lakehouse for no extra charge! This will allow for larger groups and expands our range of activities available for your group. The new property features luxury tent camping and gazebos, more tables and chairs, a second fire pit area, a volleyball court, more off-street parking, and a stage with built-in seating for special shows or ceremonies!
The Shasta Lakehouse offers a unique combination of attributes to make it the perfect place for vacations, re-unions, clubs, seminars, retreats… you name it! Thank you for letting us spend a week in Xanadu !! Talk about an ideal space to celebrate 2 -80th birthdays! The highlights: the hammock, the outdoor shower, the two tent cabins, the endless BBQ grills & the completely equipt house ! Nancy, thanks for all your hard work to make our stay comfortable and joyful. We did everything from holding a dance festival to making a fire holding a sing-along. Dear Nancy, Everything has been perfect. What more could we ask for - We feel so blessed to be here in these marvelous surroundings. All I can say is God bless all of you. We had a perfect time. I wouldn't of missed this trip for the world. Elenor & Dorothy Thank you Nancy for opening up your home to us. We had a wonderful family reunion with four generations. The first entry is from our dear mother & aunt. 88 yrs old.The youngest was 4yr old Losiah, star of the You-Tube video, "Single Ladies". A reporter from the BBC stopped by to interview him and his family right out on the path to the lake & while playing on the swings. This is the first house we've rented that had a swing set, game room, camping, stage, volley ball, truely something for each generation...Eileen We really appreciate the use of such a wonderful home. We are thankful we could bring our sweet little pooch and enjoy this amazing corner of the world. Thanks, Nancy for all you did for us and putting up with our crazy clan. What a wonderful place to be ! The hosue was so good we were looking forward to being back as soon as possible after our days on the lake. The house is well maintained and our kids enjoyed the tents. As far as the house rentals go, this place was the best place I've ever stayed. All the beds were nice and being so close to the water to moor our boats was super cool. Thank you so much for your beautiful house with an awesome backyard. It was perfect and cozy and had everything and more of what we could of possibly needed. It was simply all around the greatests place to have our leadership retreat. The incrediable scenery provided our youth spiritual focus and unforgetable memories. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shasta Lakehouse over New Years. Together my husband and I have 5 kids and grandkids. This comfortable and fun home has something for everyone - our youngest (1yr - 9 mos.) and the oldest (57) in our family group of 13, each had a wonderful time. We loved the gameroom - was so much fun playing ping pong with the grandkids and watching my husband shoot pool. At night, all males brought their game on to the card table..Lots of fun.. About the owner: Hi! My name is Nancy, and my husband Mike and I live here in Lakehead, a few miles from the Shasta Lakehouse. I work at a nearby restaurant/bar, and I know the local marina owners, store owners, fishing guides, and so on. We've lived in the area for almost twenty years, so we also know the lake and the surrounding areas well. We're usually available and happy to help if you have questions about what to do, or where to go, or if you have special needs, such as catering, or renting equipment. Lots of vacation rentals are run by out-of-towners, but we take pride in being available to make sure you're vacation is the best! We HAVE to run a great house, because if anything wasn't just as we said, you'd know where to find us!! I'll be happy to meet your group when you arrive and show you around. It's always fun to see the look on people's faces when they arrive and see how amazing our whole layout is. And it's even more fun to hear from them later about what a great time they had, and how much they loved the house, with something for everyone. They're always amazed at how everything is provided for them. We love what we do, seeing families come together, and hearing how the city folks got a rare chance to enjoy the great outdoors. It's the best. Come see us!!
