LOCATION:
The ROSE COTTAGE is secluded at the end of a small country road surrounded by 40 acres of lush forest and horse grazing meadows. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms all on one level with about 1400 SF. Surprisingly just 2 miles from Interstate 26 with only 15 - 20 minutes north to Asheville and 10 minutes south to downtown historic Hendersonville, this picturesque cottage is quiet, private and in an enchanted world of its own.
LIVING ROOM:
The inviting cabin feel of the living room with a stone gas log fireplace, rich pine floors, attractive comfortable sofas and furnishings will embrace you with its warm ambiance. You even have an awesome massage chair to relax you after a day of adventure! Be entertained by the 50 inch HDTV with premium stations & surround sound, a large DVD movie library, and a Play Station Game Player with a dozen games. We also have high speed Internet wireless connection and phones with free local and long distance so you can stay in touch!
KITCHEN:
The delightful eat-in kitchen will charm you with the quaint country cupboards, terra cotta tile floors and comfortable dining. The colorfully festive dinnerware will make you smile and the top quality cookware will please any chef! This cook’s kitchen is set up with everything you need for preparing meals at home. The knives are sharp, there’s a multitude of quality cookware, coffeemaker and even a coffee grinder for your freshly brewed coffee. There’s an assortment of basic spices and pantry storage for your groceries.
MASTER KING BEDROOM SUITE WITH PRIVATE BATH:
The quietly elegant master suite will embrace you in rich restful comfort. You will feel like you’ve been transported to a beautiful spa! Feel pampered by the ultra plush King Bed with sumptuous bedding & gorgeous headboard, beautiful marble top tables & dresser with exquisite mirror, lovely décor, tiled floors with area rugs, and a romantic love seat for relaxing and watching your television with DVD/VCR. The generous windows with view of the lovely grounds offer plenty of natural light. In addition, this generous-size king suite offers a large walk-in closet and private bathroom with a gorgeous tile shower.
GUEST BEDROOMS WITH QUEEN BEDS:
The two guest bedrooms with rich hardwood floors will spoil you with luxurious queen beds, 400 count sheets, cloud soft blankets and elegant comforters. The beautiful furniture and décor in these rooms are pleasing to the eye and spirit. You’ll sleep well here! Just up the hallway is a large second bathroom done in rich color tones with tile shower/bath combination and fat fluffy towels. By the way, there is plenty of hot water with our two new 50 gallon water heaters and we have all new plumbing throughout!
For additional guests there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, a twin bed in the kid's play area and a twin air bed with built-in quick inflate/deflate motor.
VERY CHILD FRIENDLY!:
For children, there is an indoor brightly colored playroom filled with stuffed animals, kids’ books & games, soft blankies and a comfy twin bed with an outrageously soft plush comforter. Outside, there is an extensive cedar playground set with swings, 12’ spiral wave slide, climbing wall with handholds and knotted rope, picnic table and fort with covered roof. For babies, we have a sturdy oak crib & bedding, Play-N-Pack Play yard, baby bath tub, sturdy baby stroller, high chair and more!
OUTDOOR AREAS:
You will be captivated with all private the outdoor space! There are decks with plenty of tables and chairs, a luxury 6 person hot tub featuring 54 jets with 3 powerful motors, a 24 foot above ground swimming pool that is 4 feet deep (with child safety gates), an extensive children’s playground with swings, slide, fort, climbing wall, kids’ picnic table, a firepit for roasting marshmallows, and a large level lawn area for running and playing, and badmitten net in place. The back of our cottage borders a 22 acre forest and the side yard borders a 14 acre meadow where you might meet our neighbor’s horses as they graze across the fence. It’s hard to believe you are only 2 miles from the Interstate in this secluded enchanted oasis!

My husband and I had a wonderful family vacation at this vacation home. The house has actually been recently renovated, and we found that the owners had taken a lot of time and care getting it ready for a family to stay in. We stayed for nearly a week, and found lots of things to do in the area. I recommend Chimney Rock and Biltmore Estate, but the house was so nice and so kid friendly, we actually spent one day just hanging out with the family in the house. We grilled out and listened to music while the children were out in the pool. I recommend this home to anyone looking for a home away from home.

The homeowners, Stephanie & Robert, actually live up to their mission statement, "You'll be outrageously spoiled..." at Rose Cottage. They really have thought of everything to meet your needs and make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. The accommodations and furnishings are absolutely remarkable. They've done a terrific job with the renovations and updates. We found everything to be in superb condition and operating order. As I love to cook when I'm away on holiday, I was most impressed with the well-equipped kitchen. Though I generally bring my own oils and spices when I rent a vacation home, I was fascinated to find a cabinet full of all kinds of awesome spices. Even more impressive, how often do you rent a property and find junk cookware that you wouldn't want to cook with to feed your worst enemy no less your family and friends? Not so in Stephanie's kitchen I can promise you! She provides very good quality appliances, cookware and utensils. I prepared excellent, healthy meals every night during our stay. There was no need to spend lots of money going out to eat because everything we needed was right there. After dinner, you'll enjoy resting and relaxing on the large back deck and enjoy the peacefulness and seclusion...and if the weather is appropriate, you can take advantage of the well kept pool and/or hot tub. I absolutely will stay again at Rose Cottage the next time we return to Asheville region.

Fabulous! My husband and I have rented cottages each summer for the past six years in a variety of areas. We have stayed in places that were well maintained and well stocked but never have we stayed in a cottage that was 100 percent wonderful. All the living areas were comfy...lots of sofas to congregate and watch TV - a large well-equipped kitchen, luxurious bedrooms and the ultimate outdoor spaces imaginable. The hot tub and pool area had lots of chairs and tables for cards, reading a good book (lots to choose from in the library and games area), BBQing and eating breakfast, lunch or dinner. The front porch is cute and cozy for bird-watching or horse-watching. As tour guides, we have brought groups through the Hendersonville/Asheville area and now we are delighted to have found a place where we can host our friends and family and show them the spectacular area. "Rose Cottage was clean, cozy and exactly as described." I couldn't have asked for a better home to stay in. Everything you could need was made available to us. We were able to pack lightly because of all of the extras that were supplied by the owners of the Rose Cottage. The home was clean and comfortable. The children enjoyed the pool, playground set and net that was set up for volleyball and racquet games. It was very convenient to have a washer/dryer available to us as well. We would definitely stay in one of the owners properties again when vacationing in the area. Thank you both for a wonderful experience!!!

Awesome place! We had such a great time! The cottage has been updated with quality furnishings and accessories in current color schemes - very tasteful. It has everything you need to relax! Large deck, a pool and a large hot tub right outside the back door. It's secluded and quiet but just minutes from some great restaurants & Hendersonville's downtown. Biltmore tickets were there for us when we arrived and it took no time at all to get to Asheville's downtown, too. We couldn't ask for more!

This is the best home we’ve ever stayed in! We rented the Rose Cottage for a weekend in Asheville. This is a first rate rental. The Christmas tree was lit for our arrival. The rooms were tastefully decorated. The kitchen was so fully stocked with the typical cooking utensils, bowls, etc. that we knew we could find everything we needed! We will definitely come again!

We stayed in Rose Cottage in October 2010. The view over the rural horse farm was absolutely picturesque. We had grandparents, parents, and a toddler, and were all very comfortable. My daughter loved the indoor play area as well as the outdoor swingset/playground. It was very convenient for us to not have to pack all of our children supplies and literally saved us hours of preparation and loading/unloading. All of our baby needs were supplied for us and it was great having a nursery adjacent to the master bedroom. This house was spotlessly clean and very private with added extras like massage chair and hot tub. I would recommend this house to friends. My wife, daughter, mother-in law and I stayed at the cottage in mid-September. What a great place. There is something for everyone... from the Jacuzzi... to the pool... to the swing set... to the big TV... every creature comfort is well thought out. What a great advantage to not have to pack a crib and toys for our daughter. You don't even have to pack a stroller... everything you would need for small children is there except for the diapers... (but the grocery store isn't far either) Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Asheville is such a great vacation spot... and having close access to it while still being away from the city life was amazing. If you get the chance, the Western NC state fair is a pretty good time. And stock up on apples and carrots... the horses next door will thank you for it.

My family spent Thanksgiving at the Rose Cottage. What a wonderful cottage!! There is not one single thing that we would change. Laughter filled the air as we used the hot tub (very clean), fed the horses, threw the ball with our dogs in the wooded area behind the cottage, fought over who got to sit in the massage chair ... It had every single amenity we wanted. The owners were very hospitable and made us feel like the cottage was our home away from home.

My family just got back from our stay at the Rose Cottage. What a wonderful time we had there!! Stephanie you think of everything. We LOVED the hot tub in the evening as the sun went down, and LOVED the pool in the hot afternoon, especially after a morning of horseback riding!! We did not want to leave. Matter of fact--we are already planning our next trip!! The master bedroom was most inviting and cozy, and the kitchen had everything we needed! Our boys had such a great time feeding the horses next door. I will be in touch to plan the next getaway!!
