Great Time - Good Location

We rented this location for eight days for a friend's birthday. It was a great trip. Adam was easy to work with and the location was perfect, clean, and spacious. It's a one minute walk to the beach, in a quiet residential neighborhood. It's a close walk to a supermarket, a terrific bakery (Kasalta) and other services. It's a 15 min. taxi from the airport and you can be in Old San Juan in about 15 as well. We enjoyed ziplining in the rainforest, kayaking in the bioluminescent bay, walking and drinking in Old San Juan and renting scooters from the place across from the Marriott (about a mile from the house). We'll do it again and rent from Adam!

We rented the entire house and had a lovely time. The house was very clean and spacious and made our family vacation feel like a home away from home. The neighborhood is very convenient and there are lots of little shops and restaurants within walking distance. Also, the beach really was right up the block and we enjoyed spending early mornings, late nights and entire days there.

We were a bit aprehensive about renting a home at first...we are a group of collegues and wanted to stay-on for a few days after our convention. The idea however of checking-out of our hotel and all of us staying together just seemed like it might be a little akward! I could not have been more wrong. Our experience was amazing. We all bonded like never before. Your home was perfect. I originally thought that we were not going to do any cooking but your suggestion about the whole food organic market was fantastic. We cooked some great local food (the kitchen was perfect) and really enjoyed just kicking back. After a week of beaching it, we all felt like real Boriquas (locals). Thanks for an amazing vaction. You were really helpful and will tell all our friends at work about your beautiful home. K

I rented this space along with 2 other units from the same owner since I had a party of 12. The rooms and number of beds worked out perfectly for us. We loved the location, especially the proximity to the beach. It is very convenient for taking cabs or your own transportation between Old San Juan and Isla Verde. Groceries, shops and restaurants were in walking distance. Adam provided plenty of information at our arrival and through booklets and responded immediately to any questions. We saved a lot of money staying here instead of a hotel! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my family/friends.

We enjoyed the location and convenience of the property. We had a large family gathering for a wedding and were able to walk to most of the planned activities. We didn't do any cooking but used the patio, and dining room for informal gatherings. It was great having the refrigerator and all the rooms for sleeping. Over all, it was a great experience and I would rent it again for the family. Having the white, sandy beach so close was especially enjoyed by the kids and grandkids. Thanks for helping us celebrate and be together in one location with the family!

I am a senior nursing student from UConn. I just finished a semester in Puerto Rico. I was lucky enough to live at this beautiful location with 5 other girls for about a month and a half from the end of October to the middle of December. This house is PERFECT!...clean, organized, and fully furnished with plenty of living area. The 6 of us girls were able to comfortably share the kitchen, 2 bathrooms, dining, and living room area as well as personal space in 3 bedrooms. Aside from our clothing and swimsuits, there was little we needed to pack. Bath and beach towels are supplied at the house, along with beach chairs and the kitchen is ready to use! The house is located within walking distance (2 minutes) to the beach, to public transportation (multiple bus routes) and taxis, coin laundromat, and unique restaurants, casinos, bars, shopping, etc! If you're unsure where to go when you arrive, there is an outline booklet that Adam, the owner, created to guide you around the area and give you some fun ideas of things to do. I had an amazing experience in Puerto Rico and a wonderful place to live! Adam was especially helpful to us girls providing an excellent resource to the island, suggesting places to go and sites to see, as well as accommodating our every need at the house. Can't wait to go back again!

Spacious, clean, excellent location

This was an ideal vacation rental for us--our kids could have their own room, we were literally steps from the beach, off street parking (a real boon in this area), lots of space to spread out in. Vacations are a lot more pleasant when you aren't stepping on each other constantly! We had a nice kitchen and tons of space to relax. Villa is very convenient to everything--walking distance to food, quick drive to a big grocery store, quick drive to Old San Juan. Very close to airport. Beach clean, not crowded at all. Wi-Fi and cable tv was a huge bonus. Adam met us at the villa to give us a rundown on things and was helpful with ideas for fun trips with kids. We paid less than we would have for a hotel, saved money on food and had the room a family with kids needs to enjoy a vacation. Absolutely would stay there again and would tell my friends the same! Thanks for a great trip!

Great Location, Cool Owner, and Would Rent Again!

We had a group of 9 people which is no easy task to find a place where everyone can easily fit. But by renting the main unit and the studio we all fit very nicely. The unit is much bigger then it looks in the pictures. It was only 2 blocks to the beach and only 2 blocks from some quick places to eat. About 7 blocks away was a large food and liquor store. It cost $4 per person to take the taxi into old san juan, but there is also a bus for 75cents that runs during the day. The bus picks up 1 block away. There was also parking at the unit and on the street and we had no problems leaving the cars there. The owner was very cool and stopped by to give us all the information we needed for the week and then he left us be to enjoy ourselves. However, he was very easy to get a hold of (he lives very close by) by phone when we had any other questions. He also rents a unit a little closer to the beach if 2 blocks is too far for you, but then you are further from the bus and shops. But then again its only about 3 blocks max in any direction.
