Welcome to the Mountains! This beautiful cedar and stone custom home with breathtaking views of Mt. Baldy rests at 10, 200 ft. above sea level on Peak 7. Just minutes from the slopes and Main Street Breckenridge, the home offers something for everyone. More than comfortable for two families or for one couple the house is fully furnished throughout with designer furniture and original art. Two separate master bedroom suites each with pillow top luxury bedding and a lower level with two additional bedrooms, 3rd bedroom with bunk beds and twins for the children and a 4th bedroom with queen size pillow top bedding and a twin. On the lower level is the media room with HDTV 46" flat screen TV, cable, DVD player. The house has WiFi. There is a printer for hook up to your laptop.
Nestled in an aspen grove, the quiet and serene surroundings offer the occasional visits from deer, elk and on those "special" occasions a visit from "Marty" the bull moose! The rear decks provide our guests with awesome views of the mountains, a private hot tub for their enjoyment and a scenic overview of downtown Breckenridge.
Far enough away from downtown for hikes or walks in the am or 3 mile drive to the Gondola for down hill skiing in winter or to ride the alpine slide in summer; the house is in the perfect location to offer all activities.
Gourmet restaurants, sports bar, night clubs, live theatre and symphony music halls 3 miles from the house provide venues to meet everyone's culinary tastes as well as entertainment. Other areas of interest include the Blue River for rafting, Saphire Point for picnic lunches, Lake Dillon for boating, Keystone Ranch for golfing, Boreas Pass for snowshoeing, Montgomery Falls for fishing, Mohawk Lake for hiking and Country Boy Gold Mines for panning!

Year Purchased: 1996
In the art/design industry for over 30 years with a passion for beautiful environments provided me with the skills to locate, build, and detail out our home in Breckenridge Colorado. Only one visit to Breckenridge with it's periwinkle blue skies, crisp clear air and snow capped mountains-I was in love! I've been going to Breckenridge for most of my adult life-taught our daughter and son to ski on Peak 8 and haven't stopped entertaining friends and family at the Discovery House for over 10 years. When not working or staying at the Breck house my favorite thing to do is travel! If its not to London to visit my kids then its off to Italy and exploring all the towns and villages in the Tuscan Region. They say that Naples has the best pizza in Italy but they have never eaten pizza made by my son-in-law's auntie in Barbarino. Ummmmmmmmm-so good! Of all the places I have traveled I still come back to Breck-it always feels like home!

The Unique Benefits of this House
One of the benefits of being in our home is the deck. Relaxing, peaceful and beautiful to sit out surrounded by a grove of aspen trees under the stars on a crisp clear night in the mountains. You may even see a bull moose wander onto the property, deer, and the family of fox. Its a wonderful home for entertaining guests and family members- plenty of space on three levels- open and airy floor plan. Very comfortable!
