  This is our 3rd trip to Icicle Camp and we already have trip 4 booked and discussions about trip 5 have started. The kids love it. At the end of each trip, the kids don't want to leave. In December we did a father son weekend for my son's birthday with a couple friends. It snowed as we arrived making for a winter wonderland. My son wanted to play on the snow for his birthday and was not disappointed. I let the boys play in the yard and did not worry about their safety at all. They spent two days tracking yeti. This was our second Memorial day weekend at Icicle Camp and it is great. We relax on the deck during the day and around the fire pit at night. The kids ran around the yard playing mystery hunt before spending the afternoon in the pool. As the day ended, they were ready to crash. The new beds are nice. There is also a single cot under the bed in the sleeping cabin, which worked well when my kids decided they didn't want to sleep on the floor in their sleeping bags (their original plan) and didn't want to share a bed. Having a nice big kitchen means we don't have to go anywhere. I am able to fix meals everyone enjoys and no dragging tired kids to restaurants. Plus with the great grill, dad gets to join in the fun. The dvd selection meant a nice quiet evening with the kids watching a movie while the grown ups read, played cards, or worked on a puzzle. To our family, icicle camp is a slice of heaven winter or summer.

  This was a wonderful location with comfortable accommodations, a fully stocked kitchen, and a great big property for kids to play! We loved our time here with another family. We had separate sleeping areas so the kids could nap and go to bed early and they loved getting in the hot tub together. The property is close to beautiful walking trails and close enough to drive into downtown Leavenworth. Will definitely be coming back!

  Cabins are super cute and well appointed. Location is convenient. Stunning backdrop. Great for families and kids -- can't wait to go back!

  We had such a great time at the Icicle Cabin. We arrived to a clean, comfortable and cozy cabin (s). The cabins are very comfortable and cabin-like. You don't have to worry about messing anything up, it's not high-end, but in a good way. :) The property was as described including a HUGE yard, a playset for the younger kids, a game room for bigger kids and a very nice deck overlooking it all, with comfortable chairs for lounging and even heat lamps to keep you warm while sitting on the deck. The view was amazing!!!! Our dogs had a good time running around the nice large lot that was fully fenced, we were even able to leave them and had no worries about them getting out. We enjoyed the separate sleeping cabins when it was time to wind the kids down for sleep. We enjoyed the very clean looking hot tub after a full day of sledding. We were definately thinking about how fun it would be to come back in the summer and enjoy the in ground pool! The owner was very responsive to my questions.

  The Icicle Camp cabins were absolutely perfect for our small clan of nine: two young couples, each with a toddler, and three grandparents. The young families were quite comfortable in the smaller cabins and the grandparents slept in the upstairs loft. The cabins are cozy and warm, even in the middle of winter. Well appointed with all we needed for a memorable weekend. The kitchen has everything needed except food. And if you don't want to cook, Leavenworth is just a short drive away. The new bedding is very comfortable and we all slept like logs. Looking forward to a summer visit in the future... would certainly return in the winter, too. A great value.

  My family had nothing but positive things to stay after our recent stay at icicle camp. Property was as good as described and well maintained. Home was very clean and is definitely on our return list!

  We love this place! The beds aren't the best, and the sofabeds are terrible, but for the kids, this place can't be beat! Game room, pool, hot tub keep them busy and let the adults relax!

  We rented The Icicle Camp with another family, and I loved it. I was concerned about the size of the sleeping cabins, but they were wonderful. We brought sleeping bags for my two small children and even with the sleeper sofa open there was room for their bags and the sleeping bag foam mattresses. Each evening my husband and the other father hung out at the main lodge while the moms crashed with the kids. My husband was easily able to sneak in over the kids each evening. The main lodge was wonderfully appointed. I have rented weekend homes before and I was amazed that there really was everything we needed. I realized I had forgotten sugar and aluminum foil, and sure enough they were available in the kitchen. We felt bad breaking in the beautiful new grill. But we did. :) We were able to make nice meals in the kitchens saving dragging the kids out to restaurants each night. The kids LOVED the jungle gym, the playroom, and the pool. My daughter actually begged to get in the pool in the morning as we were packing out to go home. The hot tub was also a big hit although they kids all proclaimed it too hot. It helped warm them after the swimming and before showers. I really can't say enough great things about this location. I was actually discussing a winter trip with my husband for my son's birthday. He always wants to go to the snow and we've never seen the holiday lights. If you're looking for a location with some space to yourself as well as good communal space, this rental rocks.
