What a view! If you are not an early riser, you will become one when you sit on the deck, in a comfortable chair, with your morning coffee, watching the morning sunrise crest over the lake and
Texas hills. Don’t miss the breathtaking views that bring the day in. Or later in the day you can relax and watch the boats go by or when night falls, watch the lights light up the lake.
After watching the day start, you can wander the family’s working vineyard that back up the villas. You may even be lucky to help harvest the grapes at end of July or beginning of August. It depends when thesugar count is high enough to pick.
We are situated high above the lake. A boat dock is available to hang out on or tie up your jet skis or boat. The lake provides such water fun as jet skiing, boating, fishing, sailing, or even just floating on the water.
Large picture windows allow spectacular views of Lake Travis to entertain you while cooking in the kitchen, eating dinner, having family game night or even playing cards at the table.
The kitchen has a microwave, cook top, countertop toaster /convection oven, refrigerator and dishwasher for all your needs for cooking a wonderful meal to be eaten on the deck.
The villa comfortably sleeps 6, one queen size bed, two twins and a queen sofa sleeper. The bathroom has a large shower.
There are many fun activities that Austin and the surrounding areas have to offer. Downtown Austin is a mere 45 minutes away in one direction and we have the town of Marble Falls 30 minutes away in the other direction. Depending on time of year, you must visit Marble Falls and their Sweet Berry Farm for strawberry, blackberry, pumpkin and so many other pickings. If you wish to visit a winery for tastings, Flat Creek Estate Vineyards is 15 minutes away.

My trip to the Villas was absolutely what I needed. Peaceful, beautiful, quiet. Even though the lake is low right now, there is still 70-80 feet of water in the cover. It is perfect for lounging, swimming, boating or reading. The villa was comfortable, clean and nice aquainted and the owners were very nice. I highly recommend this location to anyone who needs a few days to get away, relax and leave the world behind. There are great hikes (balcones canyonlands, hamilton pool, remier ranch to name a few) and wineries nearby. I bought my own food / drinks, but grocery stores and resteraunts are easy to find. The beds are comfortable also....it is always good to mention that bonus. Thanks so much Kurt and Kathy for a fantastic place!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

I stayed in the Shiraz Haus. The facilities were very clean very well maintained. The place looked like it could have been brand new even though it is not. The balcony / deck which over looks Lake Travis is covered so the outdoors can be enjoyed even when it is raining. In season, you'll be surrounded by the lake one side and the vineyard on the other side.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

When we arrived we were so excited to see the view and the vineyard! The property had so much character and charm! Very private for those who want to relax... Kathy and Kurt was available any time we needed them, very sweet and personable. There is a boat dock that you can swim from thats fabulous and the water is so clear! We wanted to rent a boat but all boats were already rented so if you're planning a trip and you want to rent a boat or jet skis, they will bring it to the boat dock for you but you should be sure to reserve one in advance. The beds were comfortable and the Villas were as clean as a pin! :-) We will be back again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Spectacular views and service. we will definitely be back, loved the elegant furnishing. we brougt our boat but hardly used it. The cove is a wonderful place to swim. I loved the quite waters away from the busy lake traffic. if you are looking for quite beauty this is the place to come. Loved the ceiling fans on the large deck. and no mosquitos makes this a great get away. Due to the low lake level it takes 144 steps to reach the swimming hole. but worth every step. once you get there you will forget all about the stairs be cause the water is deep clear and cool.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

We enjoyed our stay at this brand new condo on the north shore of Lake Travis. The water is low, but the views are still great and the water in the cove is deep and clear. The stairs to the water are quite extensive, due to the low water level. The home is well furnished and the owner is very accommodating! There are 2 units, so you might have some neighbors. We enjoyed meeting out neighbors and floating in the cove with them. We will be back!
