The Tangerine Dreamhouse is located at the beach end of Sand Point. The home has over 3000 sq. feet, 6 bedroom, 6 baths, 4 decks and awesome ocean views from the upper level decks. This home is perfect for celebrations with 4 outdoor decks -- 2 covered decks. 1 covered, tiled veranda with ocean/park/pool view, 1 deck in the backyard/garden, and huge shaded covered patio on first level with full granite kitchen to service family gatherings outside. All three floors have a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, ice, glasses, dishes and silverware.
First floor full guest suite has 1 QUEEN bedroom, 1 granite bath, DOUBLE futon bed in living area and full granite kitchen with dishwasher for outdoor entertaining on the deck in back yard garden. A guest laundry room is for use at your convenience.
Second floor has 3 Queen bedrooms and 3 baths and great room with granite island kitchen, dining area and living area. 2 covered decks.
Third floor has 1 King and 1 Queen bedroom, 2 baths and a wet bar area, undercounter fridge, microwave and coffee maker. 1 deck with ocean view.
Bedrooms all have pillowtop beds, full baths, and their own TVs. 1 king and 5 queen bedrooms, plus a double innerspring futon in living area on first floor.
This house has 2 granite kitchens, 2 full living areas, granite wet bar, and awesome views. Great Room has flat screen TV/DVD and the kitchen/dining area seats 14 for dinner with granite island and dining table.
Walkway to beach is across from the house. Neighborhood pool and private park with grill next to house, SO THERE IS NO HOUSE NEXT TO YOU! Neighborhood amenities are available to Sand Point Owner's and their guests.
The Tangerine Dreamhouse is located in-town, just 900 feet from the beach, between Beach Mile Markers 9 and 10 -- the heart of Sandfest. We are next to the pool, and less than 2 miles to the ferry, City Marina and Island Moorings. Restaurants and grocery store are within 1 mile.

Walkway to beach. Neighborhood pool, spa, and large grill area with palapa picnic table available to Sand Point Owner's and their guests.
Additional Sand Point Neighborhood Restrictions:
1. There is a No Noise Policy after 10 PM for the enjoyment of all neighborhood guests.
2. Parking is available in the driveway (4 VEHICLES) or in front of the pool next door.
3. There is no parking allowed on the street.
4. The neighborhood restrictions prohibit campers, motor homes and any type of trailer being parked in the neighborhood at any time.
5. Boats and watercraft can be parked at the Port Aransas Municipal Marina for five days at no charge ($2/day after that). Contact the Harbor Master.
6. The pool is for owners, their guests and renters in residence only. Pool hours are from 9 AM to 10 PM. An adult must accompany all children under the age of 16.

Our family has enjoyed 2 summer weeks in the Tangerine Dream House both in 2009 and 2010 and are looking forward to 2011! The house accommodates our entire family (we take the entire space!) and everyone has their own space. We have family age 4 - 87 - so it works for every age! It is well arranged - very close to the beach - and the swimming pool is ideal when you've had all the sand you can stand! We even were able to entertain our extended family of 23 for dinner in the spacious kitchen, family room and decks! Barb and family/friends have recommended great places for us to eat and explore on the island and we will definitely return!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We had 5 families stay here for the 2nd straight year. It was perfect. We have 4 young kids, and them being able to have their own room/bathroom, plus plenty of room to run around is ideal. Distance to the beach is perfect. Pool next door may have been the biggest hit. We're planning to go back next year.

Our family stayed 4 nights and wanted to say many more. The house is exactly as described, kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals, the beach is a very short walk and the veiws are great. We highly recommend the Tangerine House and plan to return for another vacation.

Our outdoor club held a kayaking weekend and used this facilty as base camp. We occupied all 3 floors with 12 attendees. It was great having so many bathrooms when everyone is getting ready to go out at the same time and also when getting back and all wanting to shower! The center floor and its large granite island was great for our potluck meal Saturday evening. We will be back! Bayou City Outdoors event leader

We came down with 4 other couples and stayed in the dream house. It was awesome!! Very clean and well kept. Owner's were very friendly and helpful. We had a great time! We all want to go back and stay longer next time! The pictures online do not do the house justice! The house is much nicer when seen in person. Very close walk to the beach.

We spent 3 days in the Tangerine House & had a fantastic time. We've stayed in Port Aransas for 15 years & this was the best location. The beach area was wide, clean & well cared for. The house has everything you will need for a stay & it is in excellent condition. We would stay there again!!

This home was a perfect get-a-way, and everything that the pictures and descriptions indicated. We stayed in the home with 5 couples and 2 children and had plenty of space and privacy. The home was well equipped and well taken care of. The location to the beach was great and made for easy on and off access throughout the day. Our group enjoyed the entire stay and we certainly can't wait for our next visit. Thanks again!

The pictures and information on this house don't do it justice. The house was more than we could have ever imagined. There was dinnerware, cookware, drinkware, utensils, bathroom towels, tolietpaper, soap, and everything there. The only thing we had to really bring was food and drinks. You can rent the whole house or just a certain floor! They even had movies and games! Barb and her husband were very hospitable and I will NEVER stay anywhwere else when I come back.

This IS the ultimate dream vacation house! We had two families; 2 sets of moms and dads, 2 college boys (stayed in first floor apt), 2 girls and two more younger boys (10 total)! With all of the bedrooms and bathrooms there was still privacy! The house is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need! We have stayed at Port Royal down the road and another house in this neighborhood and this was the BEST! We had a GREAT week and hope to be back! Spring Break, March 13-20, 2009

Three of us stayed in the downstairs/first floor of the Tangerine Dream House in mid-February. The futon in the living room folds out to a comfortable bed, and the two TVs and a DVD player were an added bonus, as were the beautiful granite kitchen and spacious granite and tile bathroom. The house is very convenient to the beach, and adjacent to the pool and hot tub, so you don't have to go far to get to the amenities. There is also a charcoal BBQ pit between the house and the pool, with a big covered picnic table next to the grill, where we enjoyed "surf and turf" one evening. The private deck in the back of the apartment, right off the kitchen, was also a nice surprise, and was a good place to have that first cup of morning coffee that tastes so good in the salty air. There's also a good selection of reading materials on the bookshelf. We'll be back!
