"Paul and Karen's place is a comfortable, lovely, welcoming home. It's a great place to sling a hammock in the shade of the palms and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. We were not quite prepared for the grocery stores (ah, how I missed Wegmans), so packing snacks as others suggested is a good idea. Try freezing the fresh coconut water in ice cube trays and dropping them into mixed drinks or cola - yum! There are a number of good places to eat nearby (the Curve Bar at the Marina) and in town (Innies) and if you can catch some Garifuna drumming, it's well worth it; be sure to get up and dance! So is the Mayan Chocolate "factory" in nearby Maya Center - now that's what chocolate should taste like."

"We spent a week a Villa Verona and I didn't want to ever leave. The house itself is beautiful and well cared for. There are many excursions to see and do and a beautiful big pool steps from the ocean. The village of Hopkins was small and the locals are all so very friendly. The staff at the villa are exceptional and always there to help with anything, whether you are booking an excursion or even need something from the store. Liz and Louis were very attentive and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again."

"We had a wonderful week at Chris and Maria's beautiful home. It was very spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen and lovely, comfy furniture, not to mention exquisitely decorated. We felt completely at home from the moment we first walked in. Lots of extras to enhance our stay, bicycles, a kayak, snorkel gear, extra beach towels, even small things... as simple as fresh flowers placed on the bathroom towels, or a full water tub for our sandy feet already waiting on the patio. Those little things went a long way to making us feel welcome. Janette, the property manager, was extremely helpful in answering all our tourist questions, and arranging our various tours and excursions. The evening security staff that walked up and down the beach each evening were very friendly and stopped by regularly to share stories of their country and their culture. One evening they brought us a large tub of newly hatched baby sea turtles they had just discovered who had become disoriented in trying to find their way to the water. They wanted us to see them before releasing them into the ocean. We will never forget that kind gesture, a once in a lifetime experience. Everyone we encountered was SO friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Hopkins Village, and we thank Chris and Maria for providing such a wonderful place to stay. There was just one problem with our stay ... it was too short."

"We rented the entire property for two weeks for an extended family vacation. Everything was as advertised on the website. The leasing agent was prompt, friendly and helpful. The caretakers went above and beyond and were very knowledgable and helpful. When we went out for day trips, Marto and Nikki made sure the property was kept secure. The property is private, beautifully landscaped and comfortable. There are groceries and restaurants near by and lots of adventure trips that can be done in a half day or day. The whole family was very pleased with our stay at Belize beach condos and are already planning another trip."
