"This was our first trip to San Miguel de Allende as a family. Before leaving to SMA, our teenagers ( ages 16, 15 and 11) were pretty reluctant to go to a town/city that didn't have a beach or amusement parks....or, even worse, constant internet access. We will all be the first to admit that the house is amazing. It is fully furnished with local pieces that make it the perfect setting for a week long vacation. The kitchen is also fully stocked with the supplies you might need for daily cooking. It is not a hotel, so don't expect a continuous supply of toiletries, etc. There is a corner store immediately outside the property that has everything you could possibly need (food/produce, paper goods, toiletries) for an extended stay. Although it is not a hotel setting, it is certainly great to have Juanita stop by three times a week to tidy up the house. Juanita is very friendly and trustworthy.
Casa Adriana is perfectly located within walking distance from downtown where all the shops and local activity take place. The sound of the church bells and the locals out on the streets nearby add to the beauty of the home. The rooftop view is breathtaking at any time of day, but even more so at dawn and dusk.
On Orizaba street, directly behind the property, you can find a taco stand that sells the most delicious tacos every evening (my family is a self-proclaimed tacos expert). There s also an ice cream store that sells hand churned/home made ice cream - this became a daily stop for us on our way back from site seeing.
I could go on and on, but it should suffice to say that our teenagers, who were reluctant to go in the first place, were reluctant to leave and come back home to Texas. We would definitely recommend Casa Adriana to anyone looking to stay in SMA"

"The "flower pot" is a very well supplied house in a spectacular neighborhood. As someone who comes to San Miguel every year, this was my first experience in Colonia San Antonio, and I was delighted. Everything is here - from "fruterias" to butchers and chicken stores. You are easy walking distance from the Ancha de San Antonio, with its restaurants and the Instituto, and a short walk beyond that to the center of town.
The secret delight of the house is the roof, which is equipped like an outdoor room with grill, refrigerator, sink, bed, even a full bath with a shower. My husband and I worked from this level every day, enjoying the warm air and view of the Parroquia. It's great to have a bathroom on every floor -- so convenient. Everything was charming and worked well. I am glad to be able to put this house on my "will visit again" list."

"This beautiful house was everything we had hoped for and more. We were celebrating my 80th birthday with my daughters my godson and his wife. The house was so comfortable and gave each of us all of the privacy and comfort anyone could ever ask for. The house is decorated perfectly, each of the patios and decks is more gorgeous than the other, and we really will plan on coming back. Thanks to everyone who made this celebration so perfect. "My husband and I stayed a week in this charming casita and were delighted. The casita is larger than it looks in the photos and the location is perfect. We loved having a kitchen for breakfast and the space to spread out upstairs or down. Robert and Carol the owners were extremely helpful and made our visit much more of an in depth cultural experience."
