  • Winter Stay 2015

"Had a nice mid winter 5 night stay with old chums and this place works well ! Quiet winter hodeaway with lots of bedding options and a good hot tub. Like most rentals the beds are getting squishy and the kitchenware is a bit wornout but nothing out of the ordinary and I would recommend it to others. Thanks !"

  • A great rental property!

"We stayed at the Highlands Hideway over President's Day weekend and could not have been happier with the experience. There were a total of 7 of us with 2 dogs and we found the rental to be a perfect size for this many people, as long as someone in your group is willing to sleep on the hide-a-bed. We were traveling with my grandmother (90+) and she found the condo to be very accessible, with only a small staircase (8-10 steps) to climb, which was located in the garage and protected from the snow/ice. Everything inside was located on the main floor which was convenient. The property itself was clean and well maintained and felt just like home. Great views of the surrounding mountains, with nearby access to Winter Park and Granby Ranch. Several other nordic ski resorts, national forest access and golf courses are in the area for additional winter fun including snowshoeing/skiing. Overall a great rental."

  • MARVELOUS

"This was a perfect lodge to host our Company retreat, everyone was very impressed with the accommodations and how beautiful the house was. This lodge was walking distance to downtown Breck and the ski area, we absolutely were thrilled. I believe we will have many retreats here, and I know my husband and I are thinking have a gathering of friends up there. Thank you all at Jane's Lodges you did a fantastic job! Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
