If only every vacation rental was like this ....
"We have rented many properties over the years and like most people have became wary of what was said about their experience. What I can tell you from our experience is what everyone has said about this property, the caretaker and owner are all true. It was a extremely pleasurable experience from the very beginning of booking the rental to the day we check out. The owners could not have been more friendly and helpful. The Home is very clean, well furnished and very well maintained. It is in a great location and is easy to get to the many attractions. The real indicator of was it a good experience is ... would you rent " The Brass Palm Villa " again or go back ? The answer with out question is ...yes"

"Our last trip to Key West was two years ago and we stayed at the Hyatt, which we enjoyed. However, we enjoyed our stay at this Truman Annex townhouse even more. The townhouse is beautifully decorated and is on a lovely, quiet street. It's about two buildings down from the Truman Whitehouse. Its hard to imagine that the activity of Duval street and Mallory Square are just a few steps away, since the neighborhood is so quiet. We loved eating some of our meals on the unit's peaceful, shady porch. The unit is also just a short walk to the boat launch for Latitudes Restaurant on Sunset Key, which is a must. We had a car, but rarely used it since we could walk to most restaurants, Eaton Street Fish Market, and Fausto's grocery store. We hope to return."

"We're a couple that likes to spread out, and the cottage was perfect for our getaway. It is very spacious and exactly as pictured. The cottage was spotless on arrival and everything worked properly, including the A/C (and we like it cold). We only used the master bedroom on the second floor, but there is a nice guest bedroom on the first floor that would allow for larger groups or families. The owners were very easy to work with and we had no problems leading up to or during our stay.
The cottage is located a 15-20 minute drive from the airport and a 5-minute walk to Duval. You can easily walk to any place in old town in about 15 minutes or less. We also walked to the marina for our snorkeling excursion, which is also where you can get the ferry to Dry Tortugas National Park. We opted to take a sea plane there instead of the ferry (highly recommended); for that we needed to drive to the airport.
While the cottage is attached to a row of houses, as an end unit duplex it really feels like a stand alone, not an apartment. It has double height ceilings, giving it a very open and airy feeling, and the side and back windows look out to lovely tropical trees and plants. The front of the cottage is on a road that gets some traffic, including trucks, but the advantage is that you can sit on the porch and people watch, since it it the main road leading to the beach and a lot of people walk or bike there. Traffic noise was no problem at all. The same can't be said for the roosters, but that's a fact of life in Key West. They make sure you don't sleep too late, no matter how much partying you did the night before!
The complex has a decent sized, very clean pool a few steps from the back of the cottage, so you don't need to cross any roads to get to it. The pool furniture is not the most comfortable, just plain hard white plastic with no cushioning or webbing. Shade is limited at the pool, but when we were there it was too hot for us even in the shade so we didn't spend a lot of time there. The beach (Fort Zachery Taylor) is also a 10 minute walk. Make sure to wear water shoes, because the beach and ocean are very rocky.
All in all, the cottage is the perfect mix of size, amenities, and location. I highly recommend it for a visit to Key West."

"This condo is in the right location (Duval Street), close enough to the daily and nightly activities, yet far enough away to allow you the quietness to relax on the deck with a drink. Mornings are a little loud with all the roosters on the island but it was a pleasant surprise. The accommodations were first class. Very clean, spacious, and with a fully equipped kitchen (for those that enjoy cooking like I do). We walked the entire week, no rental car, no scooters, and no electric cart. Save your money on the transportation and use it to enjoy all that Key West has to offer.
Dominick was an absolute pleasure to work with. Very professional and attentive to the needs of his tenants. All information was provided earlier than timely and complete.
My brother is hoping to bring his entire family to Key West next year and will surely be contacting Dominick to use his condo.
I strongly recommend you contact Dominick if you are planning a trip to Key West. You will thoroughly enjoy your stay."
