"This was one of the most beautiful holidays we have ever had and Casa Amarilla had a big part in this. When we arrived and got into the house, it was a real WOW for all of us. The house is far more beautiful than the pictures show. It did not take long for us to feel like home. The house and its surroundings are just amazing. The location of the house, the decoration inside, the pool area, the garden and the flowers ... everything. We had such a great time and will hopefully come back soon!"Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 1, 2014View listing
"The pictures are everything you will see when you get to the house! It was beautiful and we truly loved the large deck on the canal and sat and watched the dolphins every morning and evening! We had a great time using the Kyaks and my kids had never used them before and they took right to them. We fished off the pier and were able to catch Gray Snapper and Catfish. If you want to go to the beach, I recommend the drive and the extra money for toll and parking and go to Gulfside beach on Sanibel Island. It wasn't crowded and the water was wonderful and you could walk out forever before it got deep. The house has everything you can think of. My kids became addicted to Netflix (now addicted to Sherlock and Dr. Who). The only problem we had was the thermostat for the air, it recommends to not set below 75, but we would set it and then you would notice the house felt hot. When I checked the thermostat, it said it was 81 or higher in the house. This would even wake me at night. I wish that it would stay set, this would also help keep the house steadily cool and not waste as much energy having to re cool the house. Maybe this can be looked into? We used the grill and there is an extra tank if needed. There are beach chairs, a cooler, an umbrella and plenty of towels. Other than the A/C issue this property was wonderful and I would recommend it for a family. We had my Dad and Step-Mom stay with us for the first few days and still had plenty of room. They have thought of everything even down to a crib and high chair if needed. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing getaway!!"Guest: Lovin' this place Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 22, 2014View listing
"The photos were accurate for this property. It was clean and well maintained, close to grocery shopping and restaurants. The owner was very helpful in helping us set up our stay. I would recommend this property to others."Guest: Lyn Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 30, 2014View listing
"This was out third visit to the house. You can find my previous reviews below. This year we discovered some updates/upgrades (appliances, furniture) that made the house even nicer and the stay more enjoyable. Once again it was spotless when we arrived and we felt at home the moment we walked in the door. This year we attended a family reunion in Cape Coral before we moved in and we stayed in a different rental and visited relatives in yet another house. Neither of the other houses were as nice and comfortable as this one despite being way more expensive. I stand by my previous reviews: This home is the best deal on the Cape."Guest: batmick Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 27, 2014View listing
