"This was a great house. Our family of 5 adults and 1 baby stayed there for 7 days from Sept. 10 thru Sept. 17 and thoroughly enjoyed everything about the house and the location. It was perfect for us. The owners were very friendly, very organized and very accommodating, and as other reviews have said, thought of everything. They even had plenty of coat hangers in the closets, which doesn’t seem like a big deal but it is if all your clothes are in suitcases and you want to hang them up! The house was immaculate and spacious. The three bedrooms were very large and airy, as were all the rooms in the house. Perfect house for anyone."

"We loved our stay at Diamond Cove. We have two young kids and found the environment very family friendly and safe for exploring. The playground and swimming pool are resort quality. Roger's rental is as advertised and he has thought of everything a guest might need. The bedding is all high quality - even in the children's room, with down and 100. Thoughtful touches and generous amenities are every where and everything is well organized. Our sitters and other islanders we met confirmed that Roger's unit offers more features than most any other rental - including 100+ channel satellite TV, stereo with hundreds of CDs loaded, good bikes for every family member, new washer/dryer, fridge with ice maker, dry goods and cleaning supplies, first aid kit, top quality cookware, dishes, and small appliances. Possible improvements? Carpeted floors are not great for allergies though Roger mentioned he plans to replace them with wood soon. And it would be great to be able to arrange use of a golf cart - both my parents have limited mobility so it would have helped to tour the island and for them to keep up with the kids. Overall - a great vacation. Highly recommended."

"I rented Tim's amazing home for my boyfriend's birthday to give us a little R&R after a very busy summer. I couldn't have chosen better!
The house is about 1.5 miles from "town" so was very quite and peaceful, but still convenient for going out to dinner, grabbing groceries, and getting to and from the ferry. We enjoyed the porch, dock, and living area for many hours of lounging and reading. The sunsets were particularly beautiful from the dock. The cottage was equipped with anything we needed to cook meals (which we did most of the time!) and a comfy bed very good nights rest.
Best of all, it only took us about 2.5 hours to get to the house from Boston, but you felt very far away from everyday life. I would recommend leaving your car in Portland (there are a couple $10 per day lots) and taking advantage for the taxi and bike that Tim so gratefully provides. Can't wait till out next visit!"

"If you're debating on what house to rent in Maine...stop, this is it. We were 6 adults on vacation from NYC and this fit our needs perfectly. The house is huge! and has everything you could hope for. The porches alone are worth the stay, but you can also grab the deck chairs and sit by the ocean which is right there!!! We loved the back patio with the big picnic table with a grill. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and Jane who was lovely to work with and answered all my questions.
Bailey island is so cute and quaint and if you do stay here I recommend all things baked from the Salt Cod Cafe which is just 3 min down the road. A blueberry muffin with butter and a cup of coffee sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean is euphoric."
