"This house is nice and big. Huge living room, family room and dining room. Kitchen is surprisingly the smallest room. There's wifi and cable tv which is great. The rooms were big enough for 8 adults. There are only 3 bedrooms, so the last 2 adults have a bed in a small area on the 2nd floor in between the 2 bedrooms.
The only thing was that there are only 2 full bathrooms, and they're both in 2 of the bedrooms. There is though, a half bath on the 1st floor.
Location is great. Everything in maine is a good 30-60 minute drive, so when I wanted to go up north towards rockland, that was about an hour or so, or if i wanted to go south to portland or freeport, that was another 45-60 minutes south.
It's in a very quiet area. Your backyard is the water front.
Check-in instructions were super easy also.
I would definitely recommend this place."

"The Rose Wind cottage was a real nice Easter retreat. Minutes from the beach, clean, cosy, exceptionally well equipped and decorated, a real gem.
It might get a bit cramped with 4 persons in a longer bad weather periode, but otherwise just perfect.
The owners are nice and very helpfull (we where the first this year and had a little problem with the WiFi router hanging, which was resolved within 15 minutes)
But the place is equiped extremly well, down to the last detail.
We will definitly rent again if we can find a free spot in the calendar. (That's the downside of giving an honest good review ;) )"

"We enjoyed the beautiful coveside views and watching the tides change. Location was near all our favorite Maine activities. Cottage had all the cooking utensils we needed as we are foodies who enjoy cooking fresh Maine seafood. Antique shopping yielded some great finds. Portland Trolley and Maine Maritime Museum with Bath Iron Works tours were wonderful. Debbie was extremely helpful in getting us situated in the cottage. Hope to do business with her again!"

"The pictures do no justice in how awesome this cottage is. The cottage felt like home. The dock is just steps away from the cottage. We hanged out on the dock on our first night and almost every night. The moon was bright and had a cool breeze. We could just camp on that dock :) The cottage is very clean and comfortable. It has a nice full kitchen. Everything is close by grocery stores, breweries, restaurants and hiking trails. If you like shopping, the outlet mall and LL Bean are just a short drive. South Freeport road is a nice road to run/bike. There are barely any cars on the road and we saw plenty of people running and biking. Stephanie and John are wonderful hosts. They gave us good recommendations on restaurants and hiking trails. Even though they were just a few steps away, we felt that we had our privacy. If you need them they’re there but if not they just leave you be. Our trip to Freeport wouldn't have been this fun and relaxing if we have stayed somewhere else. I definitely recommend staying at their cottage."
