Great location

This property worked well for us. Ocean view was fantastic, beds were comfy, garage was handy for our car. Good in shoulder season, would like to come back and try it in the summer.

Great Stay!!

The view and the sound of the ocean. We ended up getting take out every night because we liked the deck so much! Will be staying here again…

We were disappointed with our stay. Lights that didn’t work, lock unable to open on the door, no curtain covering the door downstairs, twin beds are actually bunks (so not a great fit for adult guests), parking was a mess, no hair dryer, smoke detectors went off for no reason - it wasn’t a great stay. The local vacasa team was very responsive and sent a handyman out to fix the torn window screen the same day we reported it. We still had to rig up a curtain by ourselves with something found in the laundry room and also use keys to get in (which dont work well with the keypad). We had to park a good ways away and pay for parking (garage is super small which we knew but also when you have a rental car, you seldom ah e co trip over the height of the car you rent). All in all, the ocean view was beautiful but the unit left a lot to be desired.

Quiet and comfortable

My husband, our two boys and I had such an amazing mini getaway in this beautiful condo. It was quiet because it’s the off season for OOB. It was exactly what we needed. Falling asleep listening to the ocean, sitting on the balcony with morning coffee, and the gorgeous view from the master bedroom were my favorite things about our stay. The beds were comfortable and we had so much fun exploring the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfection!

Mid April stay. We shared the beach for three gloriously sunny days with no one but dogs and their owners walking the shore. Winter swimming was amazing. Great beach, safe, flat, wide. Three things of note: the stairs are very steep/ high so anyone with knee or hip issues might have a hard time getting up the two flights. The sleeper couch is old and tired and needs replacing. My back did not allow me to sit on it as there is absolutely no support and the cushions were sagged through. We were there before bug season, but I hope the screens are repaired before it kicks in as there are large gaps that would not keep the bugs out!We loved our stay though. It is absolute perfection if you crave shoreline/views/open water! Clean and sparkling new and shiny as well! We have already reserved for next year!

The condo was in a great location but was not super clean (some dusting and heat units in the bathrooms were not clean. It was just after tourist season is winding down so not a lot to do in OOB but Portland is still very busy with little parking or most parking is expensive. Beautiful areas though.

Beautiful view

This property was beautiful. We stayed during a heat wave and air conditioning would have made sleeping better but there were some fans that kept us cool. Everything was clean although there needed to be repairs to the rails in both the bathrooms and the couch smelled like sweaty feet. Nothing we couldn’t get past but just some observations. There was a lot of furniture on the patio but it was ok. Four tall seats, and tall table and a couch. The couch was very comfortable and it was nice having that on the deck. It was hard getting around the seats but I would rather them there than not have anything plus they were tall enough that you could see the water over the railing. Perfect location right on the beach. There was a private walkway and we were on the side of the beach that was considered private and not as busy as the other side of the pier. Five minute walk from palace playland and all the good restaurants. It was the perfect distance from all the craziness. Our two children are 4 and 6 and walking was easy for them. Overall we would book again but some of the things in the condo need an update or remodeling. But overall great stay!

Great Expectations

After many VRBO rental experiences this one was very disappointing. I’ve never rented from VRBO where the host was a property management company; will know to look for this in the future. I’m providing feedback to Vacasa as well. Here are my issues: 1) it was not clear in the rental description that this condo building is neither heated or A/C 2) it was not made known to any of us renting in this building that it was being repainted (scraping, priming, paint) and that this would be daily from early in the morning until after 5:30 pm. 3) lightbulbs burned out in lamps throughout the condo. Dead batteries in TV remote. 4) closets/under kitchen sink were filthy and junk 5) fan in primary bedroom was filthy; didn’t even want to use and did not. 6) kitchen poorly equipped. Sheet pans dirty/crusted with food 7) outside porch overcrowded with too much furniture. Table and chairs too big for size of porch. I don’t know the last time anyone from Vacasa or the owner made a deep assessment of this unit but it’s overdue. I will say that Vacasa was very prompt in delivering a toaster to our unit and replacing the dead batteries in the electronic keypad a couple of days into our stay. We did find the original toaster by the way about halfway thru our stay….. on top of the dryer in the stacked laundry closet. We didn’t think to look there!

Clean apartment. Welcome package perfect. The apartment felt like a home not a rental property! Beautiful view and direct beach access. Everything in walking distance , just closed down off season.

Right on the beach

The location was great - right on the beach and we could enjoy the waves from our deck.The unit needed a couple of things fixed, however. The ice maker was broken, the door knob was falling off in the main bedroom and the towel rack was falling off in the bathroom.Also, there were only 2 glasses for a unit that potentially sleeps 8 (No wine glasses at all). We called the number that was given and they told us that they were not required to provide wine glasses (ok, but this is the 1st unit we ever rented where there was not any) and someone would bring us one regular glass. It never came.
