  • Three generations of family

"We checked in 8-4-2014 and out 8-9-2014 after having 5 days of perfect temperatures and weather. Most went swimming. We enjoyed the sauna. Saw a good production of "West Side Story" at Big Fork Play House. Good prices, beer and food across Flathead Lake at Tamarack Brewery in Lake Side. We _BQ'd on the deck with propane. The home was well supplied with dishes, silverware, garbage bags, etc. We stayed in touch with family and friends using the Wi Fi. Lots of TV channels. Pool tournaments happened often among family members. I could go on about this lovely home, but suffice it to say we loved the home and had a fun time."

  • Perfect for Young and Old

"We were three generations staying in this beautiful, comfortable, peaceful home. Our ages ranged from 5 to 83 and every single one of us was delighted with this house and would be happy to return some day. The 4 bedrooms provided plenty of privacy. The two garages (garage door openers provided) were very convenient. The well-stocked kitchen meant all we needed were groceries to cook any meals we wanted. There was a place for everyone with the spacious living room, the TV area off the breakfast nook and the rec room downstairs. The master suite is very large with a king bed, office area, walk-in closet, double vanity, enclosed shower and jetted tub. The view of Flathead Lake is breathtaking. The trees are limbed just right to provide a view and shade. The sounds of the waves on Flathead lake lulled us to sleep. And even though it was October and a little cooler while we were there, we enjoyed the decks and the dock. The grounds are well kept and the location is very private, being on Flathead Lake Lodge property. It is very close to Bigfork by car, but maybe too far to walk for most."

  • Montana Majestic!

"My friends and I stayed at Mystic Mountain for a girl's weekend away. What a delight! We spent a lot of our time outside adventuring in the Swan Valley. Kalispell is just a hop away for necessities and Bigfork offers great dining opportunities. Our evenings on the deck were so relaxing. Sit and enjoy the view or spread out your Yoga mat for an outdoor practice in the trees. We were refreshed by the gorgeous view of the mountains and water. The home is spacious, superbly decorated and well appointed. Luxury accommodations await you and your family or friends at Mystic Mountain. If your experience is like ours, you will want to stay longer just to enjoy the house! Highly recommended."

  • Best of Both Worlds!

"I'm almost hesitant to write this review because I don't want everyone to find out about this little gem. We could not have asked for a more perfect setting/location. This quaint cabin is nestled onto a serene, tree-shaded hillside just steps away from the Swan River and Nature Trail. We had deer wandering through the yard in the mornings while we were enjoying our coffee in the lawn chairs, and we fell asleep to the sound of the river every night. The cabin itself is older, but has an interesting history and is clean and nicely furnished. The living room is situated so that someone on the pull-out couch can sleep without other people having to come through the room to access the kitchen/bathroom, etc. The very best part about this rental is that even though you FEEL like you're miles away in this peaceful, private setting, it's just a quick two block walk down the hill to Bigfork Village. We didn't have to use the car for two days. Byron and Dana are very pleasant owners and easy to deal with. We enjoyed reading about the history of the cabin and water tower, and the free "library" at the base of the driveway is a cute and fun idea. My son made use of the tennis equipment that was provided (free courts just down the street). We loved everything about this place and were truly sad to leave. I hope to be back with my husband later this year. I'm sure it's just as beautiful in any season."
