"This lovely Chalet home was the perfect place for my families yearly ski trip accommodating 8 adults and a baby with room to spare. We bring a lot of food, games, equipment, and personal gear yet everyone could nestle in their rooms well. The kitchen was well equipped with the big pots and bowls I needed to feed the crew and even had 2 cheese graters. I usually pack one but forgot this time! It was a short distance to load the van to go skiing and the extra stove burner made it a very toasty place in the negative /single digit temps! We had lots of room for board games and lounging, plenty of hot water for showers, a large selection of linens, and good cellular phone service. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The caretaker Lilt was great and he came over when we arrived to explain anything we asked about the house. It was also a easy place to find, even in the dark. We were all happy we stayed in this lovely Chalet."

"Everything that we read was even better in person... First, the Adirondacks... Our first visit, the most tranquil, scenic beauty you will ever enjoy. Nature, history, family fun, water sports, good restaurants, whatever you are looking for, it is here. Secondly, the cabin... pristine, better than described, immaculate, wonderful amenities, and oh that view.
You are feet from the most beautiful, expansive lake view you can imagine... quiet with very little evidence of civilization around you. Best of all, Carl and Eilieen freely shared their knowledge and love for the area with us. Almost like having a family concierge on the premises. We now understand why so many visitors are loyal and regular returnees to this heavenly camp. Cannot recommend it more highly. Thank you Carl and Eileen for your warm hospitality, we will see you next year... Steve and Michelle"

"Let me start off by saying what a great location this is! Very close to many of the trails as well as Main Street. It was a great spot for our group of girls (4) to get out and see the area! After a day of hiking we were able to relax by the fire either inside or outside. The owner, Matt, is very accommodating and gets back to you right away with any questions. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore Lake Placid!"

"My siblings and I took our mother to the Adirondacks for the weekend as a small reunion. My mom is 86 and was born in Paul Smiths so this was a trip that held a lot of meaning for us all and finding this wonderful home on Lake Flower was the icing on the cake. It could not have been more comfortable. The bedrooms were really nice (with higher quality linens than you would expect (including very nice down comforters), plenty of towels, the fireplace was divine, and the space was large enough so we could all be in the same house but not on top of each other. It was an easy and very nice walk (sidewalks all the way) to downtown as well. It was also very quiet at night and the neighbors were also quiet. Felt completely safe and cozy."
