Great vacation spot on Steamboat Springs Peninsula
"Total Elb inlet view. Big clean windows. House is immaculate, bed comfortable, kitchen has most of what you'll need to handle two or three meals a day.
Owners are very accessible if anything is needed.
Easy access to water via nice rock steps, not steep with sturdy handrail.
Far enough from town to really feel like you are in the country. Store and gas station 5 minutes away, has anything you may have forgotten.
We saw a juvenile bald eagle in parking area, great blue herons, ducks and seagulls out front. And twice watched an otter apparently foraging for shellfish.

"I am so excited to know that this gem exists. I had no idea one could rent an entire estate with animals and trails and a ton of on site entertainment for so little money. Our family had the best time. The kids loved the pool, horses, volleyball, watching movies outside, camping out on one night, and just running around being kids. The adults loved the hot tub, sipping wine on the deck looking at BRIGHT stars after kids went to bed, being around the beautiful horses (each with a unique story), and having plenty of room to have quality family time and then retreat for some peace and quiet when needed.
The property is very close to everything, there's a restaurant, gas, and market a half mile? away. If that. There's also access to a paved trail, something Western Trail, that we rode our bikes to the beach on. There were lots of geocaches along the way, too, if you do that.
The house is huge, was very clean and comfy, good quality bedding and nice pillow top beds. Our family is picky and no one complained about not getting enough sleep.
We are already talking about next summer, and how excited we are to plan our next trip to the Manor!"

"We spent 3 wonderful days at this beautiful home. The perfect place to stay after our 2500 mile trip before we travelled back to the UK. This house is exactly as described, but what is special is the happy family atmosphere when you enter the house. You just know that the family who own this house have had good times there. Everything was clean and it was well equipped. We were surprised that the previous renters had left perishables in the fridge, but we used up what we could and didn't leave anything ourselves that could go bad. We look forward to returning in the future as we loved it. Bill quickly returned my deposit as well, which was great. Thank you"

"The home is very well equipped and comfortable; plenty of room for all. The only downside is that it rained the whole time we were there.....never the less our early Thanksgiving family reunion went off with out a hitch. The grand kids enjoyed exploring the grounds in between the showers.
Vickie is the most responsive owner I have encountered in the many VBRO rentals we have used.
Many thanks for your wonderful hospitality"
