"Clean, comfy and close to the mountain. Can't ask for much more. Although there is also a hot tub (bonus!). Great stay, thanks"

  • Beautiful Cabin and Surrounding area

"The cabin was very clean and had eveything you would need, the decor was a cute bear theme. Hap and Rhona gave us advise to points of interest and directions, they and everyone we met in the area were so friendly! Had a great view from our deck where we spotted a Bald Eagle as well as down in Smoke Hole area a must see area along with Blackwater Falls and Spruce Knob. There is a book in the cabin called " A Place Called Smoke Hole", about the people and area that goes way back, a very good read you can get a copy in Franklin at the Library. We just had a great time relaxing and exploring the area and taking in the breathtaking views, also pet friendly our little dogs Gismo and Shadow loved it to. Mike and Vicky Hiles"

  • Sleepy Creek Cabin

"My husband and I have never had the experience of renting someone's home for a short get-away, so we weren't sure what to expect. We both have stressful jobs, and were looking for a place to rest, relax and rejuvenate. Sleepy Creek Cabin was the perfect choice. The cabin was welcoming and clean. It was very quiet, and had everything we needed - seclusion, deck chairs, creek, full kitchen, comfy beds, comfy chairs, hot shower - perfect. We were there for 3 nights, and hope to go back for a week next summer. If you want a "working vacation," I would not recommend this cabin. No wireless internet connection, weak cell phone service - again, just *exactly* what we needed to really unplug and unwind. If you're looking for a place to to simply enjoy life - I highly recommend Sleepy Creek Cabin in Berkeley Springs."
