En situación inmejorable, céntrica y privilegiada.Ideal para visitar o trabajar en Madrid.Espacioso apartamento de una habitación con estupendas vistas a la plaza de Opera. en el Madrid de los Austrias/ Palacio.
5º (quinto) piso con ascensor.
Se puede ir a pie a todos los sitios.
WIFI Fibra 300mgb.Consta de cama de matrimonio y sofá cama doble cómodos, cocina equipada, dormitorio doble y baño.

Es luminoso, tranquilo, bonito, limpio, cómodo. Edificio histórico. Hasta 4 personas
También, es un edificio residencial en un barrio del centro turístico de Madrid, por lo que puede haber algo de ruido natural de la actividad de los vecinos o el vecindario. Puede haber trabajos de mantenimiento del ascensor etc y que no generan molestias o mucho ruido, y no dificultan el paso normal.
En ocasiones, podrían necesitarse reformas o reparaciones de última hora en zonas comunes: paredes, escaleras, etc., sin afectar el acceso a la propiedad.
A 2 mins metro Opera y 5 mins de Sol, y con conexiones a trenes de cercanías y Aeropuerto.Inmejorables conexiones de metro, autobuses y trenes. A unos minutos andando de Sol, Gran Vía , junto al Palacio Real, Teatro Real, la Casa de la Ópera, la Catedral, jardines históricos, Ayuntamiento, Plaza Mayor, cines, restaurantes, bares , discotecas, galerías de arte, teatros, tiendas, arte , cultura y entretenimiento en un entorno precioso, en medio de todo y tranquilo.
20 minutos andando de museos Prado, Thyssen y Reina Sofia

This apartment is in an excellent location, so close to Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol but the street is quiet. It's nice to be there with two people because the bedroom is down a long hallway and private so you can be in the living room or kitchen and not disturb someone sleeping. The neighbors were a little noisy one night but they quieted down when asked. The amenities are very basic, nothing fancy but such a great value. And great communication from the host! (I only wish there were more hooks or some other place in the living room to put clothes/items in the living room besides the table.) and more coat hooks! Highly recommend.

Great location. Apartment was on the 5th floor but had an elevator. The apartment was a nice size with enough space for 2 people. The host was very helpful and checked in to see if we needed anything. She arranged for a taxi to take us to the train station.

This is a great apartment if you want to be in close walking distance of many tourist attractions. It was very clean and had enough space for us to spread out our belongings. Our teenage daughter slept on the sofa bed. If we had both our daughters with us, it would’ve been a bit more difficult as they would not have fit on the sofa bed very well and one side was very soft. Plan out your showers carefully so you don’t run out of hot water! There are not a lot of big windows in this apartment, in fact, some are super tiny. This did not bother us, but might bother some. I think this is the only inaccuracy in the listing as the windows are mostly small and there is no real spectacular view. The lack of windows did increase the soundproofing though! There is now also a newly installed elevator in the building, which is not reflected in the ad listing. A nice bonus! The host communicated exceptionally well and was waiting for us in the apartment on our arrival to give us a quick rundown.

Perfect Location

In the middle of where you wanna be, yet half a block away from where it all happens, so you get your rest when you want it. A less than 2 minute walk from/to the Opera metro station, surrounded by chain restaurants, local eateries, international food, historical places and tourist attractions. Great host and very nice place. You will be impressed.

Madrid with my daughter

We had a great time in Madrid and very much enjoyed the convenience and location of the property. The apartment manager met us at the property to give us instructions and helpful information. The apartment was clean, quiet, and in the center of it all. We had an unfortunate problem with the AC while there but they addressed the issue to the best of their abilities right away. We would stay there again!

The location of this apartment is its best feature, the apartment is perfect for a small group of two or three people, bed is very comfortable, it’s clean and simple, the Opera metro, Sol, Palace, Plaza Mayor, and great shopping all within walking distance.

The very best location and great support from Marisol the manager!

We had such a nice stay at this property. It was in the center of Madrid and we could step outside and immediately be surrounded by all of the action, restaurant, famous places, and great food. The apartment was rustic and met all of our basic needs. It was a nice place to come home to after a long day of adventures. Our manager, Marisol, was terrific. She answered Our questions immediately and gave us lots of great places to see. We highly recommend it.

Stay in Madrid

Property was clean. Great location, but building looked like it needed structural work. Noisy at night, due to location. Probably would not stay there again due to noise, and needed to be careful not to hit your head on water heater next to toilet and batch tub in shower was slippery.

Jorge, everybody comments on how quiet and central it is our appartment, interestingly as well is that we have just had the lift and a major building structure done in order to accommodate it etc with the supervision and Seal Approved by the Madrid’ s Heritage Office as our building is a protected historical building of the old city of Madrid. But you still think it needs structural work. Are you a more knowledgeable expert than the city’s Team? We have just given you, your first ever review. Thank you for your stay and best of lucks.

Great location

Pros: Excellent location and comfortable bed. Marisol, the contact person, was very helpful. Cons: The apartment was not very well maintained or equipped . The television didn’t work, we had only half a roll of toilet paper, no wash cloths, very little space in bathroom. To adjust the heat in the apartment, you had to call Marisol who then had to call the owner who controlled the heat electronically.

Roberta, what do you mean the flat is not well equipped or maintained? You never mentioned anything about it. As it was explained to you , we had bought a TV at El Corte Inglés some days before your arrival but as all TV channels in Spain have become digital, their TV stock ran out , so it was beyond our control. The heating was set up at ideal average temperature but as you asked once it was put up for you. The bathroom space is spacious enough as pictures show. We are not a hotel to provide daily washed clothes but you had a super efficient washing machine. Nobody has ever complained about space , toilet paper ( you could also bought your own?), etc . But you literally left the whole place so dirty , our cleaner has never seen so many trashed towels or the brand new sofa with so many stains after your stay etc .In conclusion, your guest etiquette is extremely poor. Thank you for you stay and all the very best !

El alojamiento ha estado muy bien, posición perfecta para conocer Madrid, estado general del piso bueno, muy limpio, y equipado con lo necesario. La persona que nos dejó las llaves fue muy amable, así que también valoramos de forma positiva el trato. Lo único a tener en cuenta es que el establecimiento no dispone de ascensor, y hay que tener en cuenta que hay que subir 5 plantas. A parte esto, ¡lo recomendamos sin duda!

un perle rare !

j'ai découvert l'impossible : un appartement calme en plein centre de Madrid ,juste à côté du métro et du marché San Miguel ( idéal pour découvrir les spécialités, un endroit vivant et délicieux). Notre hôte a été très bien , donnant bonnes adresses et attentionnée pour que tout se passe bien tout au long du séjour.Avec une chambre vraiment calme !

Great location

The property is in an older building but very well kept. It is very roomy, well equipped and with lots of natural light. The location is superb, within walking distance from the main attractions. The only setback is that it is on a 6th floor by stairs, no elevator, which I did not see in the description ( I am not saying that it was not there). If you can put up with that, it is well worth the money.

Great stay in Madrid

We were only in town for a short weekend and I wish we could have stayed longer. Great location (though the stairs are no small matter haha), functional and well appointed kitchen, sofa bed (a bit firm but my friend slept well), and a truly private bedroom which is a rarity in rental apartments. Marisol was friendly and responsive. Great spot for a city break!

Very good!

I enjoyed alot. Clean and modern. Any problems were resolved very fast. Great location! Plenty of hot water. But remember this apartment is on the 5th floor with no elevator.
