About Mervyn and Patricia Devine
Pat is an ex business owner and retired realtor. A native of Los Angeles. You will also see some of her exceptional art work around our Lake Almanor home. Mervyn is an ex- business owner and retired professional engineer in mining. We enjoy the cultures of city and country living and have been fortunate to have a home in each splitting our time 50/50. When not in Almanor we are in Solvang, CA. We have traveled the world and have many stories. Pat and Mervyn are grandparents! Mervyn and Patricia Devine built this home and moved in in the fall of 2014.

Why Mervyn and Patricia Devine chose Lake Almanor Country Club
We searched hi and lo for the ideal community to see tall evergreen trees and a lake. We were seeking a wetter area where we could have rain, white Christmas' and minimum wind. After seeing many lots, we chose the last one shown to us because we could see the lake and the price was right. The lot is dramatic, well treed and overlooking the quiet road in front with lake peek in the distance. We are on a one mile long road with cul-de-sac.
What makes this House unique
We came to LACC by chance to check it out. The gated community is well established with roughly 1500 homes and is operated as a resort, It has its own Security and Fire Departments including Ambulance service. It has two recreational areas featuring beaches and two boat ramps. It even has a band shell for weekly performances and family BBQs,and not to forget the Sugar Pine Lounge and restaurant with white linen service and good food.

Yearly trip to the lake.
This house was clean and comfortable. The three bedrooms were perfect for us providing privacy for everyone. The kitchen and gas
BBQ were very user friendly. We enjoyed our stay, (five adults), and would rent this property again.
Nice house very clean
Beautiful house! Nice proximity to the lake and facilities!
Great time definitely going to be going back! Beautiful lake, house and area
Thanks for the nice review, Mike. We appreciate your patronage. Hope to see you next year!
beautiful home, great accomodations
We all enjoyed the stay at the home, the residence was beautiful and the deck afforded a veiw of the Lake Almanor. Working with the Devines was a good experience and their attention to detail for our stay was excellent, we would recommend to anyone that this is a place to visit with your family.
Your reveiw appreciated very much. Pat and I are happy when a guest party has a great time and great experience. The area has so much to offer and Lake Almanor is a hidden jewel in northern California. Come again!
Great vacation home - very comfortable, clean, fully equipped!
Had a great week at Lake Almanor and this house was a definitely a great find for us. Will definitely rent again!
The owners are super responsive and proactive.
The area has a rich history; from the Immigrant Trail to the abandoned 30 mile stretch of rail line you can bicycle to Susanville on. You can visit Lassen National Park (a must), visit the famous Kedy Wye on the BNSF railway and see Indian falls and walk where natives walked long ago. Restaurants abound, and the restaurant at Child's Meadow is marvelous. Vist the railway museum in nearby Portolla.
