Our 4 double bedroom villa Baroni is situated in the Etna area, discretely isolated and close to everything.
It is located in Carranco Estate, an active Olive Oil and Wine producing Estate and it is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards and feature a private pool, overlooking stunning Mount Etna.
It has been been built with attention to the use of antique and traditional techniques and local materials such as lava stonework from Etna, hand-made terracotta floors and walnut shutters. All decorations, furnishings and fittings are of impeccable taste. With all amenities to blend in a perfect balance the best of Sicilian traditions with the maximum modern comfort.

It has unique panoramic views (especially on Mount Etna, the village of Castiglione di Sicilia, the Mounts Nebrodi and, at night, the sky, featuring a complete map of the stars).Its optimal location permits our guests to either move to make easy day visits of the beauties of Sicily, go for the day to the seaside in Taormina or to just stay at the Estate and relax.

Large Villa

This property is ideal for a family. It is vehicle dependant since it is in the countryside. Pool was a great help for the day time Italian heat. Cool evening breezes make sleeping comfortable.

Country Living in Sicily's Leading Wine Region

My wife and I spent three wonderful weeks with family and friends at the bucolic Carranco Estate. We rented the four-bedroom Villa Baroni and the two-bedroom guesthouse, Villa Nocellara, surrounded by vineyards interspersed with olive trees, and commanding spectacular views of Mount Etna and the rugged countryside of northeastern Sicily. It was a perfect location for visits to the plentiful wineries nearby, and for half-day or all-day excursions to many of Sicily's leading historical and archaeological sites. We were pleased by the Carranco Estate's gracious and timely services, which included almost daily visits by a company representative who took care of any and all issues that arose in a prompt and friendly fashion, and also offered advice about local restaurants, stores, and attractions that only a local could provide. Thank you, Danilo Zullo! We may return to the Carranco Estate for another visit someday, and highly recommend it to others who seek a peak experience in the beautiful countryside of Sicily's leading wine-making region.

Rundown villa in GORGEOUS location

The physical location of the villa was GORGEOUS, but the local villages were somewhat rundown and deserted. The villa itself was very rundown especially compared to the photos on the listing. Nicer furniture and decorations had been replaced hedges and lawn unkept, and refrigerator door was missing.

Just perfect

Lovely large house, nice rooms with beautiful bathrooms, very tastefully decorated. The villa manager gave us a warm welcome and informed us proactively about nice things to do in villages nearby. In the beautiful garden was a fine pool and phenomenal views ... in all directions! Mount Etna, in the distance the village of Castiglione and surrounded by vineyards.
