The house itself was right on the beach, with private access and a beautiful, kind of secluded beach, which was the draw. The cottage was dated, as expected but it could have used some maintenance and TLC that it hasnt gotten over the years. Some of the electrical outlets didnt work, microwave had to be pushed in at an angle just so to power on. There was damage to the drywall in a couple of rooms. The downstairs toilet ran and didn't flush properly. The upstairs bathroom toilet paper holder was broken and the door handle kept falling off. Just little things but they kept adding up. Then there was the dishes that were put back in the cabinet dirty. Then there was the comforter with blood stains all over it. I contacted the property management company, they sent someone to fix the toilet and the toilet paper holder. He took the bloody comforter and said he would launder it and bring it back. He never came back. I reached out to the property manager several times and asked for a partial refund, because when you pay 4000 for a week to stay somewhere you expect clean dishes, bedding, and functioning appliances. Still yet to reach them & address these issues. I gave an OK rating because the location, direct beach access, and large porch where we spent most of our time was really beautiful & perfect for our vacation. But in the future I would not book a property with this management company, Paramount Destinations.
