Fun weekend
Walking distance to River Street. Very cute apartment. The check in process was a nightmare. I got the keys out of the lockbox with no problem, and assumed the 2 keys were 1 for each guest. The check-in instructions did not mention that there are 2 doors to open: 1 to get into the building and the 2nd to open the apartment up stairs, nor was I given an apartment number. I grabbed a key and attempted to get, but the key would not work. I called the mgmt company and they also did not seem to know that there were 2 doors to unlock. I left to find a bathroom and when I came back, I tried a key again and it opened. That's when I found out that there was a second door....the two keys weren't for 2 guest, they were for 2 doors and I had picked the wrong key on my first attempt. There should be much, much better instructions like: there are two doors, the keys should be marked, apt#, etc. The management company needs to come to the apartment and walk through like a guest and write instructions accordingly.We didn't want to watch a lot of tv, but we did want to watch the Kentucky Derby, but were unable to because non of the 5 remotes would turn on the tv. Again, simple instructions kept by the tv and extra batteries.Also, the cleanliness score is not great, because we saw several large roaches -palmetto bugs while we were there which was just gross...the apartment was clean and cute, but you need to invest in an exterminator because that left a very bad impression.
