VILLA SARAH TENUTA MELOGRANI SAN GIMIGNANO

La villa a bénéficié d'une restauration soignée et méticuleuse.
Un soin particulier a été apporté afin de garantir aux hÎtes un séjour inoubliable et de se sentir comme chez eux. La Villa Sarah a été restaurée avec des matériaux précieux tels que de la terre cuite ancienne faite à la main, des salles de bains entiÚrement en travertin et des cuisines en marbre de Carrare « calacatta », des poutres en chùtaignier et des luminaires en bois de cyprÚs local.

La Villa Sarah offre une vue spectaculaire sur les célÚbres tours de San Gimignano.

Un grand jardin entoure la propriété et abrite également une piscine à débordement de 16 mÚtres pour 6 personnes, avec jacuzzi (ouverte du 30 mars au 30 octobre), réalisée en pierre précieuse de Cardoso, une pierre locale réputée.

À cĂŽtĂ© de la piscine se trouve une dĂ©pendance d'environ 110 mÂČ avec une grande terrasse panoramique, une cuisine extĂ©rieure Ă©quipĂ©e, un barbecue, un bar, un espace dĂ©tente et une grande table pour profiter des repas en plein air.

Plongés dans la tranquillité de ce lieu enchanteur, vous pourrez savourer l'atmosphÚre d'antan tout en bénéficiant du confort moderne.

Amazing Villa

We absolutely loved our time at Villa Sarah. The photos cannot capture just how breathtaking the views are. The staff were lovely and professional. We loved the kitchens and dining areas and cozy bedrooms. We also love the town and the beautiful rolling hills surrounding the Villa. A dream come true

Villa Sarah is one of those once in a lifetime experiences. Even after seven blissful days, we still couldn’t believe we had the privilege of staying here. The views from the house of the rolling Tuscan hills and enchanting San Gimignano in the distance is a sight we will all treasure forever. The house is so thoughtfully designed and furnished by the owner, Gabriele. You really feel at home, but with every luxury, including five whimsical bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, stunning views around every corner, outdoor showers, the most GORGEOUS outdoor kitchen and farmhouse table, ping pong, foosball, washer/dryer. We slept most nights with the window open to the fresh air and peaceful bird sounds. My only regret is not booking this place for longer than a week, but we will be back. We spent plenty of time in the comfort of this insane property, but also enjoyed day trips to Florence, Montepulciano, Pisa, and Certaldo. San Gimignano is a short car ride from the house (the ride also provides some incredible landscapes). BOOK VILLA SARAH! We are forever changed by this incredible experience!!

Stunning View

Villa Sarah was lovely and the setting was spectacular. The outdoor spaces and pool were great for cooking and relaxing. The view was postcard perfection! The staff gave us great recommendations and helped to organize transportation. We had a welcome dinner at the Villa which was a highlight.

Birthday Celebration

We had an incredible time at Villa Sarah. As amazing as the photos are, they do not do justice to the beauty of the villa and the surrounding countryside. The view from the pool is unlike anything else you will experience and is alone worth the price of the villa. We rented the villa for 7 nights with 10 adults and 2 children, which were easily accommodated. Gabriel, Caterina, and team were incredibly responsive and easy to work with and they were able to recommend a number of activities and experiences for our group. The highlight of the trip by far was the cooking class in the outdoor kitchen - highly recommended! Gabriel and Caterina were also able to arrange for a professional photographer to come and capture the cooking class. As others have mentioned, the welcome spread is certainly enough food to tide your group over for the day of arrival. There are plenty of grocery stores a short drive away that can provide you with anything else you need. There are also countless hill towns, restaurants, and vineyards in the surrounding area that Gabriel and his team can recommend. Thank you to Gabriel, Caterina, and team for creating a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experience for our family.

Overall, wonderful property. Pool was about the nicest I have seen on a private property. The entire property was set-up for maximum outdoor enjoyment. Caterina and Catherina, the host representatives could not have been more helpful in setting up car rides and tours. This property will not disappoint.

Family get together in Tuscany

Wonderful clean property and great owners who communicated often and help arrange many side trips and dinners. The villa is beautiful and the pool is stunning. The five separate bedrooms all with their own ensuite gave all of us our own space and worked well. The villa is ideal for an extended family get together. Location and views are great although we would say do not plan on walking to and from San Gimignano - it is a long, dusty and very uphill walk.

Amazing family birthday celebration

The villa was amazing. My family of 5 celebrated my 60th birthday at the Villa Sarah. You can’t ask for more picturesque views. Hard to believe you are looking at a real landscape and not a painting of a perfect Tuscan landscape. No noisy neighbors nearby or obstructed views, just the pure magic of the San Gimignano village, vineyards and rolling hills. The Tuscan cooking class in the outdoor kitchen was a highlight. It was a hugely bonding experience for our family. Even those who don’t like to cook, loved it, and the chefs made it all so easy and fun. Gabriele and Caterina were so responsive to all our needs, making dinner reservations, wine tasting and arranging a car to take us to the Cinque Terre. Beautiful memories for all of us.

Magical Celebration at Villa Sarah

We had a magical stay at Villa Sarah. The home is beautiful and the views look like paintings. Communication could not have been easier but it’s above and beyond your typical VRBO. Their team arranged for a driver (the fabulous Sonia!), an incredible chef, and wine tours. Sonia even got my son in to see her eye doctor one afternoon. Every recommendation the owners made was spot on. I can’t wait to return!

Unforgettable Tuscany Birthday Celebration

Considerable time and effort went into finding and selecting Villa Sarah. We rented the property for a 5 day stay with 4 adults and 2 kids for my 50th birthday celebration. The hosts went out of their way to communicate with us all along the way - from the initial booking 9 months ahead of the trip right up to arrival. The villa itself has been beautifully renovated including amazing outdoor space (pool, elaborate outdoor kitchen and game area) overlooking a breathtaking view of iconic vines and the ancient walled village of San Gimignano. The 5 bedrooms are all similar in size and each feature their own en suite bathroom. There are two bedrooms down and 3 up stairs - all similarly sized and appointed. The outdoor space is a welcome addition as the combined kitchen and small living area are on the only "common" areas inside the house itself... opening the wonderful double doors at the entry to access the outdoor space creates an expansive overflow area connecting in and out beautifully. The hosts connected us with their chef partners who we engaged (additional cost) to come in and prepare meals for us on two nights - they know the space well and used both indoor and outdoor kitchens to prepare authentic Italian dining for our group. We had a designated point of contact for any questions or issues while at the villa and given that we were the first visitors of the season, we did encounter a few issues all of which were resolved. Villa Sarah is an unforgettable experience!

A 5 Star Experience !!!!

5 star everything! Book this house without any hesitation; you will not regret it . We loved our stay and are looking forward to coming back next year. The view from the house, the garden, the hospitality, the surroundings and also the layout of the house - all awesome! We enjoyed our daily walks through the breathtakingly beautiful neighborhood. There are several wineries in the neighborhood that offer wine tasting and food and always amazing views of Toscana’s wine region. You will love the hosts of this house; Gabriele, Lucia with daughter Carolina are so very generous and willing to help with anything. They are real sweethearts. They invited us several times out to dinner to the winery up the street and on top of it, Lucia cooked a delicious meal for us (Ragu with pasta :-) The welcome buffet tied us over for several days. The house is well equipped and has everything you need. It is all functioning and decorated with great taste. The outdoor kitchen and dining room is a wonderful spot to hang out - the pool and the view of San Gimignano makes it very special. Sam Gimignano is a treat. very charming with shopping and restaurants. Since we stayed in that house for a month, we needed to keep our daily routine - we found a gym and grocery stores in Poggiobonzi, a town 12 minutes away. We recommend visiting Siena and Volterra - it’s a beautiful drive through Tuscany. Florence is easily reachable by train. Gabriele, Lucia, Carolina, thank you for everything

Great Stay

Really enjoyed ourselves. The villa was clean and beautiful. Updated too. Great views. Outside kitchen was super. Only suggestion is to have the pool, or at least the jacuzzi, heated. The water was too chilly in October to really enjoy.

One week

The villa was in good condition. The Tuscan countryside is beautiful and you can see the towers of San Gimignano on the hillside. The website discusses walking to San Gimignano. That is a reality if you are in your 20’s and in great shape. It is all UPHILL and a long way away. It may be an estimated 2 KM but that is as the crow flys. NOT WALKABLE. Transport is a BIG issue. RENT A CAR!!!!! It will cost €120 for roundtrip transportation to San Gimignano which is about a 6 minute car ride. There are also limited choices for drivers. BOOK EARLY and rent a car!!!! The POOL is lovely and inviting but NOT HEATED. It was very cold and Almost unusable. The chef for dinner did a great job. Best ribs we have ever had. You are NOT allowed to being in your own chef so don’t research anything else.

Just perfect!

We had our children and granddaughters join us for a week at Villa Sarah to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. It was wonderful. The villa is lovely and the view can not be beat. The pool and outdoor dining kitchen were a couple of our favorite gathering areas. They arrange to have a chef come in three nights and that was delicious and super convenient. On the nights that we did go out to dinner Caterina arranged a driver for us on those evenings. The villa was stocked with all the basics to get us started and a huge Tuscan meat and cheese platters to celebrate our arrival. It was a week that none of us will forget!

Perfect month stay with family and friends

Villa Sarah was everything we expected and more. Owners, Gabriel and Lucia, and concierge, Caterina were all very helpful and responsive prior to and during our stay. The location of Villa Sarah is just a short drive or long walk up to the village of San Gimignano. Siena, Florence, Montepulciano, Lucca, Pisa, Volterra are within an hour drive making it the perfect location for day trips. The highlights each week were our cooking classes and chef prepared meals in the wonderful outdoor kitchen area. Chefs, Sergio and Priscilla and helpers, Francesca and Senna were wonderful. Dining al fresco every evening while watching the sunset over the Tuscan countryside was priceless. We took full advantage of the beautiful pool and jacuzzi. Villa Sarah was the perfect place for us to share our love of Tuscany with family and friends. We look forward to returning.

Tuscan Bliss

A fabulous stay for our 2 families for a week in the Tuscan hills outside of San Gimignano! The house was gorgeous, and the view overlooking the pool and outdoor living space is unbelievable! Perfect location to explore Tuscany and Florence. Would highly recommend for family trip!

A Slice of Heaven on Earth

From start to finish Villa Sarah was truly an amazing and unforgettable experience for our family. Planning and communicating with owner Gabriel and Miss Caterina was extremely easy and efficient, with all details coordinated to our requests. The recommended tours were spectacular to Siena, Chianti, and Florence with the ease of our personal driver, Sonia! Personal chef night at the Villa with the talented and exuberant Chef Priscilla is NOT to be missed! Villa Sarah with its surrounding grounds, landscape, and location in San Gimignano are breathtaking. Many thanks to our gracious host and family for this once in a lifetime trip !
