The hosts were very welcoming yet provided privacy. The villa and the view are gorgeous. The beds and linens super comfortable. The weather was chilly so we enjoyed nightly fires that heated up the rooms. The kitchen was well stocked and access to the laundry was easy and appreciated.

It was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The entire team made our stay so special. Our concierge, Monica, was phenomenal. She had wonderful ideas for things to do, handled all the arrangements, and was always available and supportive.The villa staff, Marionelle and Rafael, were warm, caring, and took such great care of us every day. The dinners they prepared and the breakfast pastries were absolutely delicious. Our driver, Antonio, was also fantastic. He was always early, took great care of us throughout our stay, and made some wonderful winery recommendations.The villa and grounds were gorgeous and impeccably maintained, with enchanting countryside views and beautiful sunsets. On quieter days, we enjoyed bocce ball, swimming in the pool, long walks, and the gym. The onsite cooking class with Goodies was fun, professional, and, of course, delicious! The billiards room was handsome and charming, although we never actually played.It was an unforgettable stay, and we would love to return!

Amazing experience from start to finish. The host was very responsive to all our questions & needs. The villa & property are stunning! Like living in a castle with so much history yet modern showers & a kitchen with 2 dishwashers, 2 fridges, large gas stove, 2 ovens, water dispenser (still or bubbly) & a "professional"coffee machine. Spacious well appointed rooms, 2 large, cozy living rooms, huge fireplaces, great internet & super comfy beds. (FYI 1 king OR 2 singles - listing error says "and"). Villa is well stocked with supplies, super clean, very private & secluded with lots to do right on or near the property (be sure to walk along the river; take a night drive looking for wild boar!). 15 min drive to Greve or Panzano; lots of great restaurants nearby. LOVED exploring the medieval towns in the area! The welcome "basket" was delightful & included enough "snack food" for our entire visit (Italian cheeses, prosciutto, fresh fruit etc) with delicious Chianti Classico wine grown right on the property & oil from their own grove! Having the staff shop for our arrival saved us so much time - we could hit the ground running! The included meals were absolutely fantastic - ravioli, lasagna, chicken alle corti...I think I gained 10 lbs!!! We loved dining on the patio with views of the olive grove and the Tuscan countryside laid out before us, as church bells chimed in the distance... truly a little piece of heaven. Thank you, Monica! We can't wait to come back!
