The house was spacious and very clean. Furnishings were all in good condition and the house is exactly as pictured. The property is close to many good restaurants as well as the boardwalk and beach. Checking in and out couldn't have been easier.

The only thing we feel people should know, is there are 3 floors and about 35 stairs. Do not come with more than 4 people unless you do not plan to go to the resort pool at the same time. The HOA only allows 4 passes and they are strict on that.We had a wonderful host and we made other arrangements for pool time. This condo is very beautiful and quiet. We had a great time, we visited Assateague island state park and a Waterpark. Our grandkids loved this trip and we definitely made memories J. Denning

White Marlin Open stay

Great place. as advertised. Only issue was the AC was locked at 72 for cool and it was very warm upstairs. Basement was fine. The owner should not lock the thermostats during guest stay. It makes for a rather uncomfortable night particularly during such unpredictable weather swings.

A Mini Family Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a long weekend here with another family that had kids equal in age to ours (3 & 1). The house was beautiful with more than enough space for all eight of us. The neighborhood was private and gated, which allowed for quietness and nice family walks at night before bedtime. The kids enjoyed the views of the marina when we went for our walk and loved playing at the pool if you’re looking for a restaurants or going to the boardwalk in Ocean City you’re just a short drive away. As a parent, we appreciated all of the outlet covers for child safety, and the extra little details that the owners put into the unit. However, we did find that some of the furniture had sharp corners so we were just diligent to move them out of the way to avoid any accidents with the kids.

Probably wouldn’t stay again

Very nice decor but didn’t like that we had to pay extra for linens and towels. The beds should have been made initially by the cleaning service.

Rich, I think a 3-star rating for linens and towels not being provided is pretty severe. Especially when it is disclosed in the listing and when we spoke on the phone. This is a fantastic unit and as you even said, very nicely decorated. It has received wonderful comments from everyone who has stayed here, even when they purchased the linen package. Beautiful spacious home!

The home was in a great location, about a 15 min drive from the beach (without traffic). The home was renovated and had pretty much everything we needed to be comfortable. The host was very responsive. The only complaint is the neighbors, who weren’t very friendly and actually called the police when my cousin parked in their parking space to unload groceries. Other than that, everything was perfect and I would recommend this home to other travelers.

Renters and Owners

Very impersonal at pool area. Made us feel like we didn’t belong because we were Renters. Would not allow more passes for group. Only four people could use pool at one time. We had 7 in our group, 3 were children. ???

Patrick, I am sorry that you experienced this issue and wish you would have reached out to us during your stay. The community only issues 4 pool passes and will not issue any more. If your children were under the age of 14, they should not have required a pool pass. I will be reaching out to the community management to share your experience. This is a fabulous property and I am sure that you enjoyed the property itself. It is always frustrating for us when we are dinged for something outside of what we can control. Good experience! Our family of 6 enjoyed our 4 day stay. Pros: Nice home. Beautiful community. We enjoyed our morning walks. Nice community center with pool and gym. Stocked house. Close to all attractions. Comfortable beds. Plenty of room to relax and spread out. Cons: This property needs a different cleaning crew! Major housekeeping issues that is obviously not owners fault and I will private message them about. House has of steps to go up and down. Also refrigerator water dispenser was not working but we carry cases of water bottles in our vehicles so not a major issue. Overall descent experience and would consider staying here again but would hope housekeeping issues are addressed

The property was just as advertised, plenty of space, and beautifully decorated. We used the linen service, it worked out well. The pool and gym were perfect. Only 4 passes are available at a time so you need to rotate using them. It was only a few miles from the beach and boardwalk.

The property was very clean and beautiful. I had difficulty with the garage code. It didn’t work while we were there. I tried reaching out to the property, but didn’t get sufficient help. My other issue with this property was that there are only 4 pool passes and we had 7 of us in my family. This wasn’t explained clearly. When we went to the pool, the attendant was nice enough to give us 3 additional day passes but told us we couldn’t come back to the pool any other day. So we were only able to use the pool for one day. This was very disappointing bc I booked this property bc I had young children with us and they love the pool.

Everything was great thank you for allowing us to spend our vacation with you.

The unit is the middle unit of a building of three, neighbors were extremely quiet, Very nice. The house itself is large. For the most part as advertised. Couple things that we did not like. In the description of the housing unit, it states they recommend the temperature of the home be between 72 and 74. I read a few reviews that stated the owners restrict the temperature to be no lower than 72. I went in unsure of what was the truth. Reviews are correct, even though it states what they recommend the temperature be set at, the owners restrict you from putting the temperature lower than 72 which I felt wasn’t in the description. It should state in the description online you are not allowed to put the temperature beneath 72. In my home, we keep our air set at 69. The house was too warm and we were disappointed.The main thing in hindsight that was disappointing was they do not include linens. We did go in knowing this, it is in the description, however, I wanted to just add this because to pay more additional to the we paid for this unit for five nights I thought was absurd. I have never walked into a hotel or a home rental and been told you have to make your own beds. I have never been told you have to bring your own towels from home. We had to bring two additional bags and spend probably an hour making all the beds up. I would never do this again. We left so early because of baseball we then had to strip all the beds at 5:30 AM.

Had our crew for the White Marlin Open stay with us , and everyone commented how the place just felt like home. Everything was clean, the location is wonderful. Can’t recommend enough.

Perfect home for a getaway

Myself, my husband, our two babies, my dad, and aunt and uncle stayed in this house for a family golf tournament at Glen Riddle and it was the perfect amount of room for everyone. For parents that use pack and plays, the primary bedroom closet was HUGE so it is perfect for a baby. Everything was perfectly labeled in the house which I loved for any cooking we had to do. The only negative I can mention about this house is that the thermostat is locked on either a heat or cooling setting. We had some warm days during our stay and it was pretty hot trying to sleep at night. I am sure if I contacted the owner, he would have figured out a way for us to change the setting, but we ended up opening windows to cool the house down instead of bothering the owners. All together an awesome stay and we would 100% stay here again.

Our stay

We absolutely loved our stay here and we would definitely re-book another stay next year. The location to everything was perfect. Our only complaints that we had was the refrigerator did not keep our stuff cold and the air conditioning didn’t keep the upstairs bedrooms cool. The bedrooms got really warm and musty at night.
