Un antiguo granero bellamente renovado ubicado en 3 hectáreas de tierras de cultivo, con impresionantes vistas sobre el campo virgen, verde y montañoso de Garfagnana, en el norte de la Toscana. La propiedad se divide en 2 apartamentos (ambos incluidos en el precio), uno al lado del otro, por lo que ambos tienen una planta baja, lo que brinda privacidad a los grupos más grandes entre sí, mientras permanecen juntos en vacaciones. ¡También hay mucho espacio para relajarse y cenar juntos!

En total hay 8 dormitorios y 6 baños, 2 salas de estar con cocina / comedor y mucho espacio para relajarse y comer juntos, tanto por dentro como por fuera. Hay una hermosa logia que se extiende por la planta baja de la propiedad que ofrece un lugar para comer y relajarse a la sombra con vistas a la piscina, y también hay una gran terraza cubierta al lado de la casa.
También hay una barbacoa y horno de leña para pizzas con vistas a la zona de la piscina y con vistas a las montañas más allá.

La casa está a solo 2 km de Camporgiano con su río, castillo, mercado semanal, restaurantes, bares y tiendas. El pueblo también cuenta con una estación de tren para aquellos días en que desea dejar el automóvil y visitar a personas como Lucca; Barga Castelnuovo; Pisa Florencia y la costa.

La casa cuenta con fantásticas vistas del campo virgen en cualquier época del año. Explore los cientos de pueblos en la cima de la colina, vaya a caminar, montar a caballo, andar en bicicleta o pruebe la pesca, que es excelente. Nade en el féretro, visite la fortaleza local, vea las cuevas del viento o atraviese los árboles ...

Por supuesto, las posibilidades para hacer picnics son infinitas y observar las estrellas por la noche es una experiencia. Relájate con una copa de vino y observa a los lugareños jugar Bocce o ser un espectador en el rollo de queso por el que la zona es famosa.

En el otoño, únete a la pasión local de recoger hongos o deleitarte con castañas que solían formar la dieta básica para los lugareños. El turismo aún no ha llegado a esta área y este es realmente uno de esos lugares cada vez más raros en Europa para los cuales se puede decir.

Comida: la cocina garfagnana es bastante simple, pero deliciosa, ya que utiliza productos frescos locales para preparar platos, que desde entonces son muy baratos. El vino es bueno y barato. Hay numerosos restaurantes en la zona y los niños son bienvenidos. Las disposiciones se pueden encontrar fácilmente en bares / tiendas locales y supermercados.

Los lugareños son muy amables y serviciales, aunque no muchos hablan inglés, tome su libro de frases. Dicho esto, siempre podemos ayudar con la traducción cuando sea necesario y el propietario también es realmente útil.

Fantastic holiday in Collaprico

Our large family group spent a week at Collaprico in July. It was an amazing property with every amenity provided. Plenty of space and beds for 16 of us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the week. Really enjoyed the large pool and the gorgeous gardens. Would highly recommend this property.

Great villas for large family in beautiful setting

We had a wonderful family holiday here, hiring both villas for a week in August for three family groups with babies, young children and grandparents. The setting was idyllic and felt quite remote, with a lovely large pool and terrace area facing the hills, and a large outdoor pizza oven that we used to cook homemade pizza for about 23 of us (including guests) one evening! There was plenty of shade along one side of the properties facing the pool (thanks goodness - it was hot!) , where we ate together for most of our meals, although there was a separate shaded terrace on an upper level for the villa we stayed in if we needed our own space. Some shade was also given on the main lawn by the large tree, great for hanging out under with the little ones. The swings in the adjacent field (a 30-second walk from the pizza oven) were an added bonus for the kids. There was plenty of space for us all in the villas and we had pretty much everything we needed. The owner, Gabriele, was nearby and ready to help if we needed anything. Via Tuscan Retreats, they also managed to find us three highchairs and three cots! Washing lines were available 'round the back' for drying the laundry, as well as airers which we used on the terrace. There was plenty of onsite parking for our three cars and getting around was straightforward, but we know the area as we have family living nearby. It was also nice to walk up through the fields to the little group of houses at via del Poggetto, and despite the heat, we also did the longer walk down to Camporgiano (and back up!). We would definitely recommend these villas for a large group of family and/or friends.

Fantastiskt hus

Stort och vackert hus i den storslagna regionen Garfagnana. Vi var 13 personer som bodde i huset och alla trivdes mycket bra. När vi checkade in hade åskan slagit ut strömmen, men den mycket hjälpsamma värden Gabriele ordnade fram en generator så vi fick strömmen tillbaka. Tack! Byn Camporgiano ligger någon kilometer bort och där hittar man några trevliga restauranger, butiker och café. En besvikelse var dock att tågen inte gick från byn som utlovat, då vi planerat flera dagsutflykter med tåg. Vi tog dock en buss till den vackra staden Lucca. Sammantaget var det en underbar semestervecka i ett fantastiskt hus!

Viva Toscana

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem tollen Haus. Wir - 2 Ehepaare in den 60gern- sind früher mit unseren Kindern in Urlaub gefahren. Jetzt wollten unsere insgesamt 5 Kinder mit ihren Partnern- alle um die 30 Jahre - nochmals einen solchen Urlaub machen. Also sind wir mit 12 Personen in diesem tollen Haus mitten in den Bergen um Camporgiano gelandet. Der Hausbesitzer Gabriele empfing uns herzlich und war jederzeit für uns ansprechbar. Er fab uns von Beginn an das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Das Haus hat eine super Aufteilung, perfekt geeignet - 2 Hausteile mit je 4 Zimmern und insgesamt 6 Bädern. Besonders genossen haben wir den riesigen Pool. Außerdem gibt es einen aus Steinen gebauten Pizzaofen im Garten, in dem wir selbst gemachte Pizza gebacken haben. Mega! Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und die kleinen Bars laden zu Frphstück, Aperitivo und Abendessen ein. Wir hatten eine supertolle Zeit. Das Haus ist absolut emofehlenswert. Mille Grazie Gabriele.

Schönes Haus mit tollem großen Grundstück

Wir haben an Pfingsten für 1 Woche mit unseren Freunden (4 Familien; 8 Erwachsene und 9 Kinder) einen sehr schönen Urlaub in dem Haus (bzw. genaugenommen sind es 2 Doppelhaushälften) verbracht. Das Grundstück ist recht groß und so kann man sich problemlos auch mal mit einem Buch zurückziehen. Der Pool bietet ausreichend Platz für Groß und Klein. Der Pizza-/Brotofen war für uns ein Highlight und es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht ihn zu nutzen. (Kleiner Tipp: Feuerholz kann man im Gartencenter neben dem Carrefour Express in Camporgiano kaufen) Vor Ort wurden wir sehr freundlich vom Vermieter empfangen und der Kontakt war unkompliziert und sehr gastfreundlich. Vom Haus Richtung Westen verläuft ein kleiner Rundweg, den es für einen kleinen Spaziergang lohnt zu gehen. Hier hat man nochmal eine tolle Aussicht auf die wunderschöne Landschaft. Wir hatten das Glück, hier die Glühwürmchen nach Sonnenuntergang beobachten zu können. Es waren unfassbar viele Glühwürmchen (Juni/Juli ist Paarungszeit), das war ein spektakuläres Schauspiel. Für etwas Sightseeing eignen sich mit etwas Fahrzeit auf jeden Fall Lucca und Pisa. Alles in allem war es ein gelungener Urlaub in einer beeindruckenden Landschaft und einem gemütlichen Haus.

Bella casa con begli spazi ed un magnifico esterno. Il giardino e la piscina sono veramente fantastici. Location che permette di visitare bene una zona molto bella. Unico neo la fornitura delle cucine, da rinforzare un po’. Vacanze con amici riuscita. La consigliamo vivamente.

Great Family Holiday.

We were 4 family groups ranging from 1 year old to 70 years old. The property was ideal in that sense as we had the younger ones with children in 1 half and the elders in another. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and the children loved the pool and the outside space. Easy to sightsee either driving or by train. Slightly remote (we expected that) with perhaps a 2km walk to the village.Easy going in - not so easy coming back. Nice Pizza restaurant in the village and a slightly more upmarket restaurant 5 mins drive away. I have to say the villa itself which was comfortable , clean and tidy is slightly tired particularly outside. Most of the wooden furniture needs repair. a 5 year old girl managed to collapse a chair whilst sitting with a book. The pool surround has many loose paving stones which was a slight worry when the children were playing. The villas are not particularly well equipped and many kitchen items were shuttled between the 2. A few large glasses would have been nice. Not major problems but annoying when trying to cook a large meal. The main picture showing the pool and fields beyond is several years out of date. There are 2 houses built fairly close and there is a 3 metre hedge (see picture). The owner and his mother were very helpful and overall I would recommend a stay here, but it could be improved fairly easily.

You are right that the photos were rather old and we have now taken up to date photos which are now on the advert, with all old external photos removed. We have also undertaken a full review of kitchen equipment and the owner will update items that have been missing ready for 2018. He does do an update at the end of each season...The villa does have a regular programme of reinvestment and sunbeds will be part of that for 2018. Brilliant for all the family

A beautiful place off the beaten track. Near to station.we had all ages of family staying where it suited all. Owner very helpful and nothing too much problem. Pool was cold as not heated. Some of the younger members tried it and turned a bit blue! We would thoroughly recommend this for either family holiday or a pile of friends.

Sorry the pool was cold - as you are aware we usually only open it from May onwards (and it was particularly cold before you arrived) but we opened it early for you and hoped for the best! Great base for family holiday

This place is great. We rented the whole lot & there's plenty of room to spread out in various shaded spots. The pool is excellent. There are plenty of places to visit (Lucca, marble mines, lakes, castles) although as the roads are winding, give yourself plenty of time to get anywhere. Good cycling terrain - if you like hills (try St Pellegrino in Alpe). There's a really good pizzeria in the centre of the village, and a visit to the Mulin del Rancone at the bottom of the valley is a must. Gabriele & his family are close by & are great help.

Gruppenurlaub in wunderschönem Ambiente

Wir haben mit 17 Erwachsenen eine Woche in diesem geschmackvoll restaurierten Ferienhaus verbracht. Es hat alles soweit gepasst: Der gigantische Pool, die vielen Sitzplätze im großen Garten und den Terrassen, das Backhäuschen und der Grill. Danke auch für die gute und nette Einweisung auf englisch von der Besitzerfamilie. Alles in allem: Ein ruhiges Plätzchen zum Genießen und definitiv weiterzuempfehlen.

Secluded paradise

17 of us stayed in this lovely location for a walking holiday. There was adequate space for all of us and we had several meals together round the BBQ and the beautiful terrace facing the hills. Our walks were within easy car journeys and it was lovely to return and relax round the pool. Plenty of shade round the garden for those who find it too hot! We also loved Lucca and travel by rail. The local pizza restaurant in the village was excellent. The owner met us on arrival and was very friendly. Super place for a family get together or a group of friends.
