The 19th century farm house, after being restored, gave rise to a building of balanced lines, where the old and the modern combine harmoniously. The spaces of yore gave rise to the rooms of chestnuts, sunflowers, ivy, forget-me-nots and roses, recalling the aromas and flavors of the countryside. Although close to the center of the village, Quinta do Pomarinho's house still conserves this rural environment, framed by a green landscape, reserving for you the quiet you are looking for.

Friendly house in the country

Wonderful stay in Arouca, a nice place in a nature reserve. You can do all kinds of things, such as canyoning or hiking. 45 minutes to Porto or an hour to Aveiro. The house is charming, cozy and spacious. The kitchen has no water, dishwasher or cooking facilities. Furthermore, fully equipped with refrigerator, coffee / tea and crockery. Host Pedro is extremely friendly and he helps you to make your stay enjoyable. Pedro is even happy to do the laundry for you. We have grown to love Pedro in a short time! In Arouca you can get delicious breakfasts very cheaply or have a nice dinner. So you don't need a kitchen at all. We thought it was a private house with a private pool, but there are several rooms for rent. No problem, because everyone is active during the day and you hardly meet each other. In short, we had a wonderful stay with our 3 young adult children.

Hele fijne vakantiewoning met een super fijn zwembad.

Heerlijke woning op een mooie locatie met mooi uitzicht. Fijne veranda waar het ook op de hete uren heerlijk vertoeven is. Groot zwembad. De eigenaar is heel behulpzaam en gastvrij en helpt waar mogelijk. Wij hebben een super vakantie gehad.
